Hi,
So what does that mean?
Firstly, it means that you only have eight more days to enter this months contests (Some contests run for longer then a month, so those don't count as far as the 8 day thing goes.).
Secondly, we've started work on next month's contests and they should be a lot of fun. Now with so many new sponsors and contests it gets a bit challenging keeping it fresh and fun for y'all, but I think that this month, we've done it again (well, we're doing it again.) and everyone should find something that suits their taste (and skill level).
Thanks to HappyPlant, I should soon have a camera, so be on the look out for there to finally be a 'Guess how many XXXX this is', 'What was this thing before I flattened it with a hammer' or two contests coming up. If I receive the camera in the mail before the contests are posted, I'll do something like that.
Also, as a test run, we're going to have a picture oriented contest next month, but to help keep the TY bandwidth under control, people will email their images and I will view and optimize the image files and then post them.
This will ensure that the File size is as small as possible without sacrificing image quality and help make it gentle on the TY server/bandwidth.
I've setup a TYContest email at:TYContests@gmail.com.
This is to be used for contests only, and only those contests where you're specifically asked to email your entry. Anyone needed to contact me for anything else can use the TY PM system. Any member who abuses the TYContest email can expect me to ignore them.
That's it for now, So go enter this month's contests before there over.
