Its party time, come one and all to the calgary TY group
Stampede BBQ and bean party. of course this is a BYOB (bring your own bud) and will be held during stampede week here.
For those who are trully interested, contact either myself or sedativeocean for more details.
There will be some outdoor as well as indoor accomadations available onsite.(tent, tent trailer, and portable beds, air inflated.)
This is the 1st annual for our group and we plan to make it the best one. we will have contests, like pin the tail on the donkey, bobbing for buds - whoops - apples I mean etc.
so take the opportunity to bring the family to the stampede and meet other TY'ers at the same time. again details by PM only

I do both the 'Hello' type of wave and the 'Sports Arena' Type of wave.
But that one looking kind of silly because it was just me!

Speaking of 'The Wave', a fun thing to do when watching a sporting event at home is to call up the arena and ask for the control room, usually they put you throughm because that don't think that anyone who didn't need to speak with the control room would call and ask to speak to the control room. Anyway, when they put you through ask if they can put something up on the message boards to get the crowd to do 'The Wave'. NO wmake sure that you don't call during an exciting moment of game play. And you'll know, because you're watching it on TV. And if you do get a Wave, it's very gratifying. It makes the game that much more interactive!

We here out west are figureing that we need to have an annual party.
We miss out on the eastern things, Hempfest, Fill the Hill, so we need to start something with a western flavour.
Since all of Calgary parties through the Stampede we need to do our part.
We will be serving green cuisine as well as the regular stampede fare. :p

would love to swing on down....sold our house and have to pack and be on our way to Edmonchuck by the end of July, so I am going to be packing, packing, and more packing.
I will pencil in next year for sure though....

I just tried it Buddy...but it's not the same sitting in front of a computer...alone. I even tried doing the wave slowly and moving my chair (on wheels) down the hall, but it just didn't have that same effect. :(
