That's terrific news. I wonder how long it's taken for decisions to be made about some of these cases, how much it really costs if there weren't a few good lawyers out there doing pro-bono work.

Don't get me wrong, Grant's financial help is sorely needed for some of them -- so were the funds raised by other activists.

I made a mistake. It was not trafficking cannabis.

First charges (Red Deer) dropped were a small amount of cannabis and medicinal mushrooms the defence was medical use.

Second time (northern Alberta) was small amount of cannabis again and cannabis oil a derivative of cannabis again a medical defence was used.

Both times the crown dropped the charges before the trial was to begin.

It is better then trafficking charges actually. More so in redneck Alberta!

We are off to Grant's lawyers this morning and i have been told John has a DVD copy of Grant's Supreme Court hearing in January 2006 for Grant. I have been wanting to see the proceedings and now finally i will get to see them.

Take care ALL!

That would be sweet eh. After i take Grant to his lawyers this morning to pay the bills the Krieger Foundation bank account will have a grand total of $15.00 in it. Not enough for limo's sadly. We had a good celebration at Grant's home instead last night anyway.

so were the funds raised by other activists.

Sadly no. Grant is very creative and well respected and manages to raise the coin needed one way or another. It is not from donations to the Krieger Foundation. Very, very little financial support from the general cannabis consuming public comes his way.

The guy lives like a poor man, he has nothing but the clothes on his back and a few DVD movies. Everything is handed over to the Krieger Foundation and then it is used to help others always.

I am going to take some pictures of Grant in his home (if you can call it that) and share with you all. Proof he does live like a very poor man, no TV, no stove, no furniture excluding two old beat up office desks and a old worn out computer. The guy is amazing, i would not believe if i did not see it everyday of every week.

I learn something new everyday from this man. He has changed my life for the better and all so many others as well!

Honest to god folks i am not on Grant's pay roll (same goes for TY), there is no pay roll or employees at the Krieger Foundation. I am just very passionate and very strongly believe in medical marijuana and i must strongly support those that help people in need of help. (Marco, Grant and others as well).
