Sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it Doug. I know how you feel about doctors. It seems the more you go to them, the more they find out is wrong :). Hopefully today your tests will go well and their will be nothing to give a second thought about. Hang in there hon.

Sorry to hear about your illness and testing. You are in the same boat just different house as most here. We are all sick of being sick.

I have an idea, Why don't we all just take a day off of being sick. Is that not a good idea. LOL. I know it's not funny but what else or we to be, but keep some humor in our lifes, So all for one now. Let say, "Today I am off being sick, it can wait until tomorrow and I will be sick again than, but today I am off".

Pain Free Day is a GREAT Idea. I've been living with constant pain since 1997 and every once in a while it would be nice to 'turn it off' for 24 hours, at least. About 3 years ago, I had a 'Bad Flare up' while my regular doctor was on vacation. I tried to hold out but had to see another doctor. He spent about 10 minutes going over my 'very thick' chart and asked me what I wanted from him. I told him I wanted a 'break from the pain' for a little while. He proceeded to shoot my butt full of Demeral and write me a 'script to last a week.
I did NOTING PRODUCTIVE that week, but it was the lack of pain that allowed me to laugh with friends and loved ones. Everyone around me enjoyed a break from 'crabby' as much as I enjoyed NOT being in constant pain.
Too bad doctors are not required to live in constant pain for 6 months before getting their license. I'm sure they would be much more understanding.

Thanks for all the kind words -- my doc says my PSA numbers are ok - just taking the biopsies to make sure I do not have more Cancer. Wish I could "turn off " my MS for a day or two, but as long as they keep curing me of the big C -- I will be okie dokie........thanx again everyone, doug
