I like to fancy myself fairly intelligent, but the avatar has gotten the better of me. I tried to add one that was 64x64 with 5.05kb and dont know why it wont work. It is a bitmap file. I will try to post it here, but if not, if someone could post a cool one for me or lead me in the right direction.

Still no luck buddy. I go to CP and edit avatar. Then I choose upload custom avatar and browse for it. But then it tells me it is not a valid image. Thanks for the help mate:)

I clearly cant figure this out, as Green has showed me that it works. I tried both Green's and Raton's and had no luck. My process is this:
1. Save the image to my pics on my comp.
2. Go to Control Panel and Edit Avatar.
3. I then choose the custom avatar choice, as it shows no avatar when I get there.
4. I then browse my computer and choose the image I just saved.
5. Click on Save changes.
6. It goes to the next page and says "This is not a valid image file"

I am lost.

And I am not sure what you meant by that avatar Raton, but I am trying not to feel offended. But I dont see any relevance with that image.

I tried to edit my message after realizing you were referring to sitting on E. I did not expect meanspiritedness from you at all, but did not see the connection in the words. I re-read a PM from you and realized what you meant. I am in a wheelchair, so I am sitting-one (not sure how it came to that, but i couldnt get sittingduck or similar on another site, so sittingone just stuck.)

No need for apologies at all Raton. It was totally my inability to see your funny:) I have always thought you to be a cool, chill person who has their priorities well in place and brings much to TY. I honestly thought maybe I offended with my thread title or something, and could not see the forest for the trees. I truly thank you all for your help, especially Raton who finally got me there. There must be something in saving on my computer and then putting it in the lower custom avatar box.
Hope you all are well medicated. I am on hiatus with bronchitis (possibly part of the reason for not seeing Ratons joke), so it will be a few more days of no smoking.
