That's right folks, I asked Jorge if he'd like to do a grow chat for the members of TY. He graciously agreed. Since he lives over seas, the 3 pm EST is the time he requested so as to not be to terribly late at night for him. This is a rare opportunity to Learn from a incredibly knowledgeable grower/writer. I suggest you DO NOT MISS IT.


So lets thank Jorge Cervantes for such a wonderful opportunity.

Wow i seriusly cant believe noone brought that up! So everyone already must know how to prune huh im the only one who wants to sharpen up his skills?

I dont get it its a grow chat and not one thing of Advanced techniques besides Co2 is going to be mentioned.. I dont about anyone else but my first thing or question is usually HOW DO I YEILD MORE? So Pruning and techniques like this should be covered..

What to look for in a male?? thats kinda of an obvious subject doesnt every grow book tell u how to spot a male???

Organic Nutrients?? Go to a hydro store and look!

The only topics i see going anywhere are going to be:

Soil vs Hydro
Closet set-ups
Stabalization of hybrid

All others are pretty much common sense and can be found in all his grow books so why bother him with info hes already gave us lets get new info out of him!

There was a thursday grow chat that was used to let members list subjects or questions they would like Jorge Cervantes to touch on, you were more than welcome to come and add your thoughts. As I said you can come to the chat and bring the subject up yourself. The list wasn't the only topics to be discussed it was just a way to give some input to Jorge so we weren't having a dozen people trying to all ask questions and thus getting confusion in the chat.

What you look for in a Male? Is in relation to breeding, not sexing a plant.

The other questions are things that members want to hear Jorges input and thoughts on. Starring at a shelf full of nutrient bottles is not gonna answer many questions.

Please note that I talked with Jorge and he wants to let members with breeding questions know that he is not a breeder. He has said he'll talk to some breeders he knows concerning the breeding questions.
With this in mind we will be focusing on non breeding topics today. Maybe we will look at having a chat led by an established breeder at some point.

I don't need a prize, I had a great time in chat. Jorge was and is cool. I liked it where he said he had some problems germinating a certain strain. He puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us.
