say what? i am not even sure i know how to answer that.
Plants or normally sold in seed form or clone form. I guesss spouts would be an option but it is not the normal way of doing things. If you took the seeds and sprouted them you might be 10 days or so further behind than if you took the sprouts. Is that a big deal?
You did not mention how much more the sprouts were than the seeds so it's pretty hard to give you much of an answere. Are you sure the sprouts are marijuana?

 someone is selling sprouts now??? Somehow I just can't grasp that one. Is this a local thing? They are so delicate at that stage that transporting would be out of the question imho.

I guess in that case it would depend on the genetics and how much you trust these people to produce what they say they will.
As for the trenchcoat thing lol, I was just saying that if someone pm'd you about selling you some sprouts they wouldn't survive a mail trip. Didn't know if you were a seasoned grower or a noob :). Just trying to help.
edited for stoner typos

I guess the real question to be asking is -- " Are these sprouts or already sexed female clones ? " If they are merely sprouted seeds, then I would think you would have no real advantage in time. But, if they are already sexed female clones, then you would be quite a bit more than a week ahead. But, what are the genetics, and are they appropriate medicine for you ? Good luck and good gardening -dug
