1 oz. per gallon, treat every 2 weeks or is there a better schedule to follow? I've never used it before so all input is welcome. Thanks.:)

every week for treating something, every two weeks probably works well as a preventative measure but for trying to get rid of any current bug or mold problem i would used it at least once a week for 3-4 weeks for best results.

oh and 1/2-1oz would probably be find. i would also add a drop of liquid soap as a wetting agent/emulsifier. :)

I agree with PF. If you have mites, they lay eggs which will hatch in 4-7 days I beleive, so you will kill the mites, but need to get those babies when they hatch, so spray again in 4-7 days until the infestation really seems gone. Then go to the 2-3 week intervals for prevention, as it seems you never really get rid of mites. Good luck. I have been fighting them the last year, and finally seem to have them at least under control. But I have learned not to just sit back and call them gone.

Some do but i am not sure it is a good idea to get too much on the roots or you might inhibit nute uptake. using neem i got ride of mites totally doing for 4 weeks once a week.

A side note:
A person at the garden centre told me liquid soap is fine but not liquid detergent. So be careful when choosing if yer gonna use it.

Yeah, add a bit of liquid soap or a product called “Penetrator” by Dutch Master.
Watering with it will not hurt anything, it just won’t be effective unless sprayed on the leaves, and unless you see a problem I wouldn’t use it after the first 1 or 2 applications, 1). Just because of the smell, neem stinks like hell and,
2). Because of the way it works, it interferes with the reproductive cycle of affected bugs…

i have to disagree with ITW here, use if for 4 cycles if you really want to get your issue taken care of even if you can't see bugs. otherwise there is a very good chance you will just have to do it again in a month or two anyway. it does stink tho.

bio degradable hand soap is good. so is coco based soap. i find that a drop of infusium 24 shampoo works well.

No argument from me pf, I just can't stand the smell. But then I just got my A** KICKED by aphids in the poppy patch.. Thank god the seasons over for them...

Anyone care to guess how many aphids can hide under a poppy leaf 16" wide and 36" long?

I dunno, but multiply it by about 6000 and you have an idea of the mess I'm in...

I mixed up a gallon on Sat. or Sunday and didn't use all of it. Will I still be able to use the stuff I mixed or do I have to mix up some new stuff? Thanks

new stuff is prefered but i think if you gave it a good shaking you could use it for next week too.
