My worst food experience was when my wifes family came down to visit us from Montreal. My wife decided to take us to a sushi restraunt which i have never tried before:eek: Her family likes this kinda food and are very upscale ppl, so i thought what the heck i'll try it(bad mistake)i think it was a spring roll or something i ate and it had this green stuff on it called wazaby or however you spell that word!!after i bit into it my face went beat red and i almost puked right there and had to make a dash to the washroom to spit it out:o Needless to say they laughed so hard at me as they new what that green stuff was and man was it hot:mad: I won't be eating sushi anytime soon:p

Oh that's easy. I was feeling a little "munchy" and went to a local 24 hr grocery store that sold baked goods. Well, I had to have an eclair. Unfortunately, my anticipation soon turned to horror after the first big bite, as I had discovered I had bitten into the middle of a sea of GREEN cream. Yes indeed, the whipped cream was green! And this wasn't some St Patrick's Day advertising gimmick! Oh no, this eclair was so old the whipped cream had a large growth of fungus in it's centre. Half of which was in my mouth! YUM :D Needless to say, I never had another eclair from them again.
Still shuddering at the thought of that fungus in my mouth AND......

Oh gosh, there are so many to choose from.....lol. Let's see...probably the worst one ever was a friend and I were in a local eatery in Marysville and I ordered a cheeseburger. When I got my burger, I took a big bite out of it...only to find it had a hair in it!! That wasn't the worst part.....lol. When I attempted to remove the hair....my burger patty took off like a yo-yo because the hair had been cooked into the cheese and kind of "unwound" when I pulled on it! Then I had it hanging over my plate, trying to get the waitresses attention...utterly grossed out and disgusted..and when the waitress finally came over I told her in the nicest way I could and in very hushed tones what the problem was. She said something to the cook and out came the cook with the longest, brownest hair that looked ever so familiar....you guessed it....it was the cooks!! They looked at me like I put it in there, but since it was so firmly entrenched in the cheese, they couldn't put it off on me.....lol. That and the fact my hair was maybe 1/2" long on the top. They offered me another burger, but I politely passed. My friend couldn't even finish her meal...we just had to get up and go......lol.

I have read the rules many times....and so I don't forget I am giving notice right away.
My worst food experience scared me for life...;) I was in grade 5 or 6 so however old that makes me....11-12? Any ways, it was the first time I went over to this friends house. They happened to be dirt poor...they had little of anything including food in fridge, but there was this partial bowl of yellow jello. Quirky thing is we were listening to Elvis sing the "Yellow Rose of Texas" Friend and I portioned out the remaining jello and sat at the kitchen table. I took my first big spoon full of jello, and it hit me. This jello did not taste like lemons...there was a strong taste of onions and God knows what else. Nothing in the fridge was covered with plastic wrap and all the odors were absorbed into the jello. I did not know what to do, but being quite shy and reserved I made my mind up to swallow. Ever since that day, I can not eat anything that has sat in the fridge without being properly coverd. I can not eat any gelletins with any other flavors other than fruit...for instance the gelletin around the canned ham....gag! You get the idea.

This one was self inflicted.
I would have to say that my worst foor experience that I remember was the time my buddies and I went camping over the 4th of july. We were pretty wasted from drinking all day(I don't drink anymore) and someone had a hairbrain idea to cook some brats... in a garbage can lid that was tied to a tree branch over a campfire. Sounds yummie right:eek: . We had forgotton somethings at home so this is the genuis idea that we came up with, I don't know what we were thinking. The Brats were cooked in beer on the lid of the garbage can that wasn't cleaned out, or should I say partialy cooked. I don't know who was in charge of the operation, but a sober person would have been best. It's amazing what a hungry person will eat. Those brats couldn't have cooked for more than a few minutes before they were putting them on buns and passing them around. They were warm, but not cooked. They tasted good at the moment but the next day was when we paid the real price. I don't know if it was the undercooked pork or the nonsterile cooking aperatus we used. I was sick for like a week though with massive stomach ache just like someone was ripping my guts out with a butter knife and puking from both ends. I thought I was dying my whole body hurt all the way to the bone. It took me a real looooonnnngggg time to eat Brats again.
Note to self---- Always fullycook pork before eating or you will get sick:)

The worst food experience I have ever had so one time when I took Robbin out to dinner. This was a real treat as we didn't go out much because we couldn't afford to with raising kids. I order the bake Salmon and about 1/2 an hour after getting home, my stomach started to hurt, within 3 hours I was at he hospital and as told I had Salmonella poisoning. I end up in bed for 5 days and when I burped it smell like the worst fart you ever smelt.
I called the restaurant and they offer us a free dinner for our trouble. We never did go for the free dinner.LOL.
