If we were to go to Ontario, i would like to visit as many French things as i could. Perhaps an Ontario history museum, have lunch downtown, check out the french inspired architecture (I've been to New Orleans) visit the headshops ;) and grab dinner in one of the best french restaurants, that is Ontario based (forget some 'Wolfgang Puck's French Cuisine').

I don't even like the french, but there influence in this hemisphere is pretty limited, and that makes Ontario pretty unique.

I love to travel. I have never been to Ontario. But when I go to a place I have never been before I like to see the Natural Wonders that the land has to offer. In Ontario I would like to visit the Niagara Escarpment. It is in Southwest Ontario and has a wide variety of plants and wildlife. I would like to hike along the Bruce Trail - Canada's longest trails and contains a view of Beaver Valley, that I hear is breath taking.

Ahh... I love vacations! Just thinking about makes me want to just leave everything behind... but too bad I just got back from vacation!

My favorite thing to do with you guys in Ontario would be to visit ANY TY member in Ontario that I haven't met yet. I find that when I meet people from Ty I get a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I used to spend alot of time in Toronto, Hamililton and Kitchner. The most wonderful people in the world. I would love to travel to Northern Ontario, and visit Rainbow Country, and see the Abarigini, on Manitoulin Island then go to Wikwemikong reserve. We'd try to sit in a sweat lodge, and be. Maybe, if blessings would have it, a pow-wow. Climb on some of the cliffs there, and watch a sunset, while praising Great Spirit. Then, fish our butt off...LOL

If i were to come with yas to Ontario for a vacation i'd like to go visit a place i was told about called "City of woodstock(Ontario)" It's the dairy capital of Canada and they have tree lined streets with century old homes to look at:) While we were there i would also like to go visit "klondike" Joe Boyle's Grave Site:)Boyle made a fortune in the yukon as a gold miner.During world war 1 he raised his own 50 man machine gun unit and became an honouary colonel.

This may seem obvious to locals but without question it would have to be Niagara Falls for me. There's just nothing like it where I'm from and it's so famous. What an amazing spectacle it must be up close. I remember a few years ago talking to some family friends who'd just come back and they had photos of a small town nearby called Niagara On The Falls? and it's surrounds. It just made it look like a really pleasant and ideal part of the world to visit. That's what comes to mind when I think of Ontario and that would most likely be my wished for first stop. :) (I've read the rules)

I'd like to visit the CNE and Ontario Place here in Toronto. It's been awhile since i've been to the CNE, we used to go every year when I was a kid, lotsa rides, games and don't forget the food building, they have the best icecream waffle sandwiches ;) As teens we'd go to concerts and CFL games at Exhibition Stadium. Ontario Place borders the CNE and is on the waterfront. They're celebrating, and just began it's first ever Chinese Lantern Festival, featuring 30 massive illuminated lanterns and many more displays of Chinese culture and cuisine. Looks like a must see!

Having been a baseball fan for almost 50 years, I would love to go to a Blue Jays game. Despite the Sox and the Yankees, they are still in the hunt this year. It would be 2 kewl to be able to attend another World Series winning game with a Jay hitting the winning home run and winning the series, ala Joe Carter against Mitch Williams of the Phillies!

If I went to Ontario I'd have to get a view of the niagara escarpment just to get a glimpse of such a large untouched piece of nature. I'm sure that it would be very relaxing.

I've never gotten to travel to Canada...yet, but if we're going to Ontario, I would most definitely want to see Niagra Falls and the Niagra Escarpment. What I'd really like to do is figure out a way to attach a helio blade to my power chair so I could "fly" or hover behind the actual falls themselves.:D Plus, I'd be able to see everything at my own speed (slow) and not keep the group waiting....lol. Now, to figure out how to attach those chopper blades so I don't give myself a close-cropped haircut....and whooooosh...up, up, and awayyyyyy...lol.;) Might need an extra battery or two though.....lol. I want to hear the thunder from the falls...feel the mist on my face...and take a million pics. Wow, that would be an awesome trip!! :D ;) LOL.
Peace and One Love,

The place I would like to go (aside from Marco's and a few cafes) is the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto. It is, like many science centers, aimed at kids, but since I work with kids in my job, that's a good thing. It gives me ideas how to explain complex science topics to the 10 to 15 year old mind. It also doesn't hurt that they are apparently having an exhibit at the part called the "Weston Family Innovation Centre" called "HEMP" :D where you are introduced to hemp, the less glamorous variety of Cannabis sativa. I feel that the US is missing out ecconomically by outlawing even plain old hemp, so I'm glad to see this exhibit (wish it was in the US, though). Other exhibits include "LIAR" Which shows the tell-tale clues to when someone may be lying to you- always useful at any age. At "Flirt", physiological reactions of attraction are explored. Sounds and music are played with in "MASH" and "VIBES". Visitors can make stop motion films or work with robotic arms. In the I-max dome theater, the Centre is showing a film on "Rainforest Bugs" (they way things are going with the rain forests, this might be your only chance to see them!) And for those weird facts that I love to throw at my kids, they have "Animal Grossology"-- all those things about the strange creatures of Earth that make you go "EWWWWW! ( Sam, 11, thought it was great when I told him how a starfish eats- his mother was grossed out) You likely would find me there at opening and leaving when they kicked me out and returning the next day for more (used to do this at the San Diego Zoo, long ago). I would be happy as a kid in a candy store!
