light sponsers...

just wondering who goes after the sponsers? i have been here for about 2 1/2+years and have never seen a sponser for lights.... im wondering why? most of us grow indoors atleast during winter and could all use hoods,bulbs,ballest,ect we buy them we spend money on them why not suport TY at the same time and maybe find a company that may give discounts to TY members and maybe a prize of two .... just thinking outloud as i was surfing for a new 600 watt hps....... also have never seen anything on hydro just kinda strang is it they dont want to be tied to a "herb" for legal resones? .... oh well back off to my surfing

i personal use http://www.htgsupply.com/ 50 bucks for a 400hps and 80 bucks for a 600 both kits no housings but thats not a big deal just wondering why no companys that do lights advertise here most of us use lights and hydro stuff at one time or anoughter....

I think grim already has good resources and contacts:)aww yup yup i do have some places i use already but... i would use a sponsors site as i belive in TY and its sponsors ;) besides i dont know how meny times in the past i seen post from new growers in our family's that just cant aford the costs of setting up a light and a contest or two could very well help one of our brothers or sisters in need like back in them old days of sending out beans and helping members with lights,fans,ect ..... dont think it would be against the law as they could be used for anything heck im thinkin of doing a stawberry patch in my colset this winter ....lol..... doh im rambling thats what i get for making up some honey oil :D ......

mmmmm...honey oil...ok, hash making time agien--some 25 iu should work. that would be cool grimm if we could get some of those sponsers here..i lucked out on 90 percent of the equiptment i use as i think i have invested around 250 dollars in my complete setup--but theres many that dont get that kind of deal--frind was moving out of state so he gave me his complete setup for 125$(1 1000watthps w/ballast and hood--1 1000wattmh w/ballast and hood --1 400mh/400hps ballast and hoodcomplete hydro and nutes and everything elese that comes with a hydro set and many extras and blowers and--man soo many extras) nice deal huh.lol---oh and extra many new lights for the hps and mh ballast.--dang that hash--sorry for rambling too...my bad--laterz, funk

Yeah, it's not like they're trying to sell fake meds and such. :p
