Grinders.
what do u use your grinder for?
what is better for very small quantities of bud to be vaporized.? would u like to use an electric grinder or a manual grinder?
what is a top quality manual grinder I could select? thanks.
I use a cheap electric coffee grinder to grind my bud so I can roll a joint or put it in a pipe. It's not fancy but it works great!

I gotta say it.....lol....but I'm still loving my "One Drop Design" grinder for smoke or baking purposes. If I'm making budder or oil, I like to use my coffee grinder and a paint brush to sweep out all the goodies attached to the lid and the sides. If I'm really in a pinch, I just use my fingers to rip and shred...lol. But that's just me....:D :D :D

At home I have 2 grinders...a Black and Decker Coffee grinder which I got for 12 bucks at the Canadian tire, and I also have another "herb" grinder made by Braun which I paid 30 bucks for at the grow shop.It is blue and has a pot leaf on it.he he,,,, I have the two electrics at home just in case I feel like I need a different type of medication at the moment. Remember variety is the spice of life. Oh yeah, my aluminum "Sweetleaf " grinder cost 30 bucks at your local headshop.

I like using grinders that have a mesh bottom so that every time I grind some bud, I start storing some Keif.
Over time, you smoked all your bud, and open the bottom of your grinder and you get to see a minuatre desert - the Keif dunes look so cool.
Most grinders that have this capability are made of some type of metal - I have not seen a plastic one that can do this.
I have even dumped my bud in a shot glass, and taken a scissor and started chopping - do it for a few seconds and it works as great as many grinders!

I'm currently using scissors and a cleaned yogurt cup and lid. The lid makes a nice way to store any left overs (in my current quest to avoid overmedicating with creeper).
But after using this method for awhile, I definitely want to find another small coffee grinder. I had one but it fell prey to a roommate moving out.
I never really thought about it, but I do have a hand crank food mill I use to crack grains for brewing. If I had a large batch to grind for some reason, I quess it could be used. It'd have to be a large mount to make it work setting up and doing. And I don't see myself doing such a large amount. Probably clog the mill.

LOL. i have everyone you just described--kinda dajavu-soundin like me.lol--not good..or maybe it is:)-for me)
I had a milled aluminum grinder with a fine mesh of diamond-shaped pillars which worked great.
I picked up a cheap replacement that uses a looser mesh of pyramids for shredding and which has a catch area with a kif screen below. It's a knock-off of one of the Sweetleaf models (I think), but I'm kind of on a tight budget to replace the medical equipment that was seized.
Now if that earlier grinder model could be combined with the catch-tray idea, it would be one sweet unit for prepping vapourizer meds. The finer the grind, the better, until you reach a point where air flow is being blocked by the material.

i have a sweetleaf wooden grinder. i use it for jionts and for vaporizing only. i prefer to smoke buds in bowls as buds. that way the triches are desturbed the least at the time of consuming it.
i like my sweetleaf a lot but there are some nice qualities about the one-drop grinders. i do not like using coffee grinders for these kinds of aplications as it produces a much too fine grinder. powder is just not preferable unless i am doing an extraction. then often the coffee grinder is is employed.
