Hi all,

Yesterday I got the biggest and best shock in a long long time. And I'm still somewhat stunned and in disbelief. As I have mentioned before the Volcano has been a much coveted item on my 'want list'. Even my doctor prescribed one, in hopes that I could quit inhaling smoke when I medicated.

Well, I had been in contact with the good folks at vaporizers.ca and they suggested that since I was on such a tight budget, that I might want to try contacting Marco at TY, to see if he could "help" me out.

Well, after I checked out the site (and magazine) more thoroughly, and thought the vibe of most here to be pretty laid back, yet helpful, I thought I'd send Marco an email. I offered some help with the mag, and also mentioned that I was really interested in a getting a Volcano, but my situation prevented me from buying it at retail, and could he "help me in my quest".

Well, later on that day, Marco replied by email and asked me to meet him at a local cafe later in the week, and we'd talk about the mag, and oh btw, yes, "I'd be happy to help in your quest for a Volcano". Little did I realise that "help" to this guy meant, "yeah, sure come meet me thursday and the Volcano is yours!"

I'm still in shock! I met Marco and a couple of other TY friends and family yesterday at the cafe, sat myself down and we started chatting about the magazine and other things related to MMJ. Little did I know, that the tips of my sandals were grazing the box that brand new Volcanos come in, sitting at my feet and under the table; the box meant for me! :D Did I say I am shocked? Because I'm still shocked.

Anyway, after a bit more chatting, I asked Marco if the prescription I had for a Volcano from my doc would make it any easier to get one. A few minutes later he said, "well I have something for you....I brought you a Volcano."

I said "no"...he said, "yep" as he reached for the box at my feet. I said, "no" again. Being pleasantly shocked apparently diminishes my vocabulary. :p It's why I'm going to wait a few days before submitting a more comprehensive review, although I'll say right off that the learning curve on this beauty isn't steep at all.

As someone who used to smoke a lot of cigarettes, but has quit now for nearly two years, I love drawing off a joint, but I have to say, the vapor tastes much better, and there's absolutely no coughing. I've had many bouts of bronchitis and the good thing about that, was that it really motivated me to quit cigarettes. Now, I haven't had a case of bronc since I quit cigs, but still, smoking can't be good for you...no matter what the plant matter.

I am thrilled to have a Volcano. I think I'll be reserving smoking for times away from home. I'm all about vaping now! I can't tell you how moved I am by the generosity of Marco, the sponsors and fellow TY members I met yesterday. Not only was Marco generous, but another member sent me off with a nice bag of green medicine, as well as a sticky little brown ball to christian my Volcano with! Wow, I'm just floored. I guess when I compare this to some of my experiences with some in the community (not the TY community...but the medical marijuana one in this city), then you'd understand why I am so shocked.

I can't thank Marco enough. And the same goes for his buddy that sent me off with some meds. I've had a really rough few months, and this really lifted my spirits. So far, my Volcano (omg...."my Volcano"...didn't think I'd be saying that for a long long while) is working fabulously. And the first bag I drew from it felt close to like the first time I smoked cannabis, oh so many years ago. It was definitely more in the head, and I didn't feel as sluggish, as others have mentioned also.

I'll say more about it after I've had more experience, and different strains to try it with...thankfully Monday is just around the corner. And thanks to a fellow TY member I have enough medicine until Monday. The Volcano makes it last longer too. Wow, I'm still stunned. I can't believe I own one. WooHoo!!!!!.........:D

It was a pleasure to be able to help you out. I'm sure that you will get many years out of the Volcano and you will definitely save on your meds.

Save up your spent mmj that you Volcanoed in a jar and keep it till you have enough to make MMJ butter with it. There are other members that will be more than happy to help you with your NEW Volcano

Take Care and Peace

My buddie has a volcano, and its the best vape I've ever smoked. If it wasnt for them being so damn expensive I would own one, and my lungs would thank me for it. Its deffently one of the items thats on my "things to buy" list once my finances allow! Enjoy your volcano!

Thanks for the good vibes all. :)

A few days later, and I am devoted to this little volcanic wonder. I find that my lungs are loving vapor. So much that smoking has become a little harsh, both in terms of the smoke and the taste. I much prefer the vapor. I find the effects much cleaner, much stronger, yet less tiring.

Wow...that is way cool! I tried vapor and am not real fond of it but maybe I used the wrong vaporizer!

You most definitly(sp) used the wrong vaporizer, cuz.
If you ever can come visit, Alicia and I have one. It's GAURANTEED to knockyour socks off.

It's the only vaporizer approved by her. You've known her all her life, and how picky she can be on things.
All the vapes we tried, she always went back to a pipe. With this after one hit on a friends machine, she looked at me and said "ANYTIME YOU WANT TO GET ONE OF THOSE, YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO ASK, JUST PLEASE DO IT"
Got it and never regretted it.
She still uses a pipe but she loves a bag off the Volcano.

Robbin has tried many Vapor devices and has owned a few. She never really like any of them, for many reasons but this week end when Marco brought out the Volcano and she seen how easy it was to use and tried the bags, you can't get the bags off of her until they needed refilling, LOL. I am only joking, she shared, but could have sucked on the bags all day, herself. It is the only one she really enjoyed using and said that if she ever got one that it would become a coffee table device and that I would have to install an outlet into the table itself. So now I guess I will have to look into one when, if ever I get my NEL benefits form WSIB.

Wow...that is way cool! I tried vapor and am not real fond of it but maybe I used the wrong vaporizer!Calydin, you're not alone. Many people find the learning curve of most vaporizers a real pain. Even the cheaper ones with wands can be nice if you take the time to learn how to use them, but with the Volcano most of that learning curve is vaporized! (sorry, couldn't help it! :p ) Really though, you don't have to worry about how fast or slow you draw the air through a wand or anything like that. Just set the dial to your desired heat setting, flip a switch to heat it up, load the chamber with whatever you like , slap on the bag, put it in place and turn on the air pump. That's the hard part.

Some people say they don't like the effect of vaped meds, but if you only put a tiny amount in the chamber - not enough to cover the bottom, turn the heat on 9 and toast that up you'll get effects similar to smoking without the coughing. (You can still cough on vaped meds, but it's alot harder to do.) If you're a pretty heavy doser then you'll need more meds that what I described, but it's as close to smoking as you'll get without the smoke.

I'm still experimenting with mine, and so far it has been a real joy! To see that I will likely get another couple of months from my existing meds and that they will be virtually cough free, what an improvement. Will give a complete report after a couple of weeks, time to see how it will work out with the varieties of meds I have available.

Hey Marco, maybe we should have a lounge area created for Volcano club members. we could discuss vaping strategies, effects, as well as all of the more mundane aspects of volcano ownership and maintenance? we could talk Volcano shop eh? Also, we could discuss vaping other herbs and what their good for, like maybe eucalyptus vaping? Or, how many times to vape the same material? I usually only vape 2X and then replace. what oil do u like to add to ur herb for flavour vaping? how many seconds do u pre-heat ? etc..etc..   of course this is just a light hearted suggestion.

Very cool. I'm fairly expert at using our Vapor Brothers, but nonetheless, it's very tempting to upgrade to Volcano for many reasons -- not the least of which being the great increase in speed with which you can get to a desired dose level, no matter how high it may be!

:) well, if smoking is baggin u out, then u really should get vape! it is a much cleaner high, and u don't need any matches or lighter....nothing to burn!!! I hear that the Volcano is the most expensive, but is worth the money and it is also easy to use. The Volcano is a great way to be "Treating Yourself". I think this is the first and last one you will ever need. I am elated with my Volcano and I highly recommend it. I don't feel bad about all the money I had to spend to buy one because I believe it was well worth the price. I believe other cool herbs can also be vaped and I would like to try mixing it up a little.
I have not seen one bad word on this product., and everyone who has tried it has sung its praises. Go to the newly built room Marco put up called the Volcano Lounge for discussion
