Talk about a letdown...lemme explain. I came up here for a respite from the B.S., and found more B.S. Don't know why (mebbe crooked politics from crooked politicians). Anyway, a major plate of B.S. This is not the place for freedom-seeking folks to come anymore. I've been harassed everywhere I've been, for little or no reason. Granted, I'm an outspoken individual. This does not justify the crap I've seen thusfar. The money and christian ethic does not match. Pagans are the same story. Money is the divining rod, leading character astray. Children are used as shields, diversions and pacifiers. POISON would be easier to stomach...what can I say.

I've lived here for nearly 18 years and while I agree that the politics suck, the people are great. The "live and let live" attitude pervades. 75% of the people I've met over these past years smoke herb, or grow herb, or used to...
and don't give a hoot that you (I) do...
There's a lot of money here, yes...and a lot of money to be made...what should that necessarily say about the character of the people? There will be good and bad in any strata....
The attempt of the current administration to re-criminalize small amounts will be overturned, and they won't be around to sneak their agendas into law for much longer...mark my words.
There are a lot of cultural "issues" here...and if I'm not mistaken, Hope is a very small village, yes? If at all possible, try to see and experience other parts of the state...it just may change your mind....
Peace,
