This is our latest addition. We went to see this little fellow and his brother the other day. We have been wanting to get a male Boxer for Minnie for quite some time. Thanks to Uncle Ralph, he has made this dream come true.
Every once in a while we would do a web search for Boxer puppies. When we discovered that a litter had been born on June 6th I felt it might be a sign. You see this litter was born right around the time that my x-partner/always friend was in the fatal car crash. For me this just exemplified how life ends begins simultaneously. In her memory we have decided to name him Kim....she was such a wonderful friend to animals...(she did a lot of foster/rescue work with dogs and cats)....I thought she would be tickled pink to have him named after her.
This is the photo the breeder sent us at 7 weeks old. He was ready to go the other day, but since Paddy is kicking me out while he renos the bathroom and he is not good at multitasking we thought it best all around to leave him at the breeders until Sept. 2. I can hardly wait!
We decided it best to let the dogs pick one another. Kim wanted to with Minnie more than his brother and the feeling seemed to be mutual...since I fell in love with both of them, I was not too helpful in the selection process. Although when I first got the pics of the two boys I was instantly drawn to Kim.
