Dear participants,

Thank you all so much for spending time and effort to come up with great slogans.

Its just so fun to read through them, and there are good ones among them, no doubt, real laughs, and nice back-door-phrases…

Now, this time my decision might look a bit odd, because I chose a winner post, which will most likely not be used as a slogan.

If, at all, then as a testimonial on our site, if the author allows us…

Second reason for me to choose for it: the post started with the quite negative sentence: “Since I will never be chosen to win this prize…”

And I thought to myself: why not prove him wrong?! ;)

SO -

The winning phrase is:

When I die.....place my body in the Clone Box.

!!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Now, we only need to get hold of the address of green medicine, to be able to organize shipping.

Please, dear GM, get in contact with either me, under: sales at eastside-impex.de, or with marco, and give us the address you want the clonebox to go to.

So, soon we will start another contest, so be prepared. The next time, we will ask for sth complete different, no slogans no more--- ;)

Be well

Dirk

Hey all,
its me, dirk, again.
after announcing the winner yesterday to marco, and sending him the text to publish, now i start recognizing that GM was not online for quite a while, presumably due to health reasons, as i read his goodbye-thread today.
I send all my best wishes, also from all the rest of the Homebox-Team, to GM, and we all hope that everything is as fine as it can be for him! BE WELL!!!
if anyone has a mail addy or knows how to get hold of him, please do so, and inform him about the prize he won! We would love to be able to send him this prize, as he seems to have more than earned it through his dedicated way of living.

all the best to all of you

Congrats dude.

What i cant figure out is who there thought to go with "die" in the slogan of a clone box...go figure. The two phrases dont mix.

I spent years in marketing. I got a degree in it even. It will definately affect sales to convey not only the word "die" but referring to your own death. That's a big no no in marketing.

just my .02c

Thanks for the reply, Dirk.

Hmm. Why wouldnt a testimonial be something like "I get the most amazing clones from the clonebox." or "I started using the clonebox 3 days ago and my babies are already showing roots!"

That phrase as a "testimonial" doesnt make much sense, but ok...it's your product. ;)

well, this might be due to the fact, that i am not native english, and for that might have chosen the wrong word...
in the end, you are true again, and i guess i was a bit mistaken... ;)

the others from eastside did not like it as a "testimonial" either that much, so we will not publish it...

but still, GM is the well earned winner of the competition...

:)

Hello Dirk!

Well you can say that I'm more than just excited to hear about winning the Clonebox!

As I said in my entry, I was sure I would never be chosen to win.

When I found out that you had chosen me, I had a heart attack! What a nice surprise.

When a friend of mine purchased a Homebox about 2 months ago, I thought it was going to be one of those things that "looks great but works lousy" but after helping him set it up, I was quite impressed.

I was worried about mounting the fan and lights and light leaks. Well the engineering that went into the Homebox erased all my concerns. It's truly a "class act". A Ferrari at a Toyota price.

I'm sure the Clonebox is going to make my life easier - I have Multiple Sclerosis - less reaching and it's discrete design makes it look like it belongs anywhere in my home, without the worries of a guest saying "What's that shelf with lights in your closet?".

You guys really made me happy at a time in my life when illness is getting the best of me...thanks.

I plan on giving you an update (as well as a review with pictures for TY) as soon as I can.
Anything I have said or will say about your products can be used as a testimonial on your site.
Please just sign them ( I emailed you my name)

Sincerely,
Green Medicine

I am definently going to check into one of these and most probably purchase one. I came this > __ < close to losing all my mimi-mom clones due to my thinking I was cool and not paying attention to temps and too much moisture. It was almost adios.
