high people,
i was just wondering is there other people having problems with there re-newal of there exemption.

me a year ago i got my exemption for 5 grams a day but told my DR i was using 14 grams a day.

he told me to just go with the flo to get my foot in the door with hell canada and just apply for 5 grams a day for the first year.

then he told me when it will be time for your re-newal next year for my permit we will apply for 14 to 21 grams a day because i have a volcano and i use more every day.

well i just went to toronto to get my re-newal forms signed and he wouln't sign for more than 5 grams a day.

told me some stupid story about the conservative and to shut up and be happy with 5 grams .am f%$#&ing pissed right off.

did this happen to anyone else here that have there exemption?

are the conservative really starting to have power over M.M.A.R. and are slowly gonna kill it or did this just happen to me.

maybe he's pissed at me for all the people that called there for an exemption :D :D :D :D

anyways am back and not to make ennemis but friends united we stand strong right ,well am on every ones side here so anyways i'll do my fighting in court not with my brothers and sisters.

chow for now people and you all have a pain free wonderful day:)

When I went in for my specialist appt. to get my renewal signed this year, I asked him to put me up to 10 from 7 grams a day. I have been ingesting alot more cannabis and making baked goods to eat, along with standardized dose cannacaps. He agreed, as does my GP, that I should get an increase.
Unfortunately, he told me that the other person he signed an application for, also asked for an increase this year, which he granted. After the forms had been sent in, he was promptly contacted by Susan Russell from HC and literally harassed by her about the amount he had raised this fellow's daily limit to. She went on to tell him a variety of bullshit, ranging from "the standard daily dose, is FIVE grams and most exemptees were on a 5 gram limit," to "the doc that signs our forms for us, should be one we see more regularly than once a year!!"
What a load of BULL!
We ONLY need to RENEW once a year, (which in itself is ridiculous and redundant for the majority of us) so why would we have to see the doc more than that once a year? Especially when it's already been confirmed we have an illness which will be with us for the rest of our lives, and which is probably NOT going to ever get better.
Anyway, it seems HC learns NOTHING from us continually trying to keep them in line, so all we can do is keep on banging our proverbial heads against the proverbial wall that is them.

but i know this lady we call her lady DI and last year she was at 28 to 30 grams a day from my DR.

i would be curious to how many grams she got a renewal for.

maybe hell canada told the DR's that sign to only sign for 5 grams or they would be refused or something.

anyways it's all bullshit and am gonna fight this in supreme court soon in the futur.why do we all need to re apply every year like my friend said some of us are just getting worst every year not better.

because of large amounts of medical marijuana we have some what of a quality of life.

i personaly smoke 7 to 10 grams a day in joints,4 to 7 grams a day in my volcano and am gonna start making myself butter also.

i dont know how they calculated 5 grams a day would cover it or even 25 plant, any one experienced in growing knows you can't fill up an hydroponic table 4'x8' with only 25 plants now come on

but anyways am in the court of appeal in toronto and then am off to supreme court when am done we wont need M.M.A.R.because am gonna legalize for every one not just my sorry ass.:p

has any one else's limit went down?

i guess when am done with my cultivation court case am gonna go up againt hell canada;)

this is all insane more and more canadians support the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes but the conservative are trying to mess every thing up just like it is in the states for the war on drugsTHIS IAN'T DRUGS IT'S MEDICINE

anyways am gonna go smoke one and am wishing every one a pain free wonderfull day.

P.S.i'll keep saying over again pot is legal people so if you or someone you know got busted tell them to fight it ,heck tell them to call me i'll help them fight i've been doing it for myself for the past 3 and half years we need to be united and the more we are the louder we will all be heard.:D

thanks to mj I have taken my morphine levels down from 800mg/day to less than 200 mg/day today, am able to kill the nausea so I can eat, I can sleep 3-4 hours at a time instead of 1-2 hrs, suffer less spasms which have broken my femur and hip in the past, and actually have a desire to continue living. and still my backwoods doc won't sign. so I am doing my best to get off the morphine so I can dump this idiot pill pusher and find someone who listens to science and not pharma.

I personally know hundreds of people (locally only too) that would love to even have a doctor sign period.
At least you do have a doctor that will sign even if it is only 5 grams a day. People I know would pay big time to have just that. Any doctors taking bribes out there? Just kidding! People here are desperate big time.

In any case until it does happen here I will continue to consume and grow cannabis in a illegal fashion and I will continue to publicly state this too.

Stop complaining- Where I live I can get no exemption of any sort, so if I get caught with even a 1/2 gram of meds I get a fine and my named gets plastered all over the newspaper. If you are allowed 5 grams, well, limits are only a guide line. Peace

As a matter of fact, Diannes doctor received a letter from Health Canada, 'warning him that her prescribed amount of 28gms/day was extreemly high and i'm not sure of the wording, but he was 'told'...
Her renewal is staying the same.

About 5 months ago, Robbin's Doc change her amount from 6g/day to 10/day and it went without a hitch., except for the fact, that they wanted her card back before they would send out the new one.

the MMAR is akin to marijuana welfare. they treat people like zoo animals and expect them to lay down and take it, which they do 99.9% of the time :)

Hi all,
I'm being left in the dark on my legal status for Christmas.

I called Health Canada several times on Friday, the day my Marijuana Exemption Card expired. All they could tell me was I expired December 22nd. I asked the receptionist if that was 2007 or 2006 and I was told they didn't have that information available.

They said Someone with access to your file will call you back in 2 or more business days. (Dec 27th or later)

And when I asked, what if I encounter the police while out and about for Christmas. They Expressed they understood my concern but there was no one available to clear up the confusion with my legal status, I would have to wait.

They did not know the year my exemption expired! What a Fucking Joke !

I applied 10 weeks in advance after hearing some exemptees were having trouble getting their cards delivered on time without some coercion. Still they can't deliver on time.

Merry Christmas friends, lets all have a tokey New Years.

they've just done the same thing to opus. his card expired the other day as well with no new card recieved.
when they were late with mine i phoned em up and told em i was heading to federal court to file for an order of mananamus(sp?), they immediately faxed me a confirmation of my license and fedexed a hard copy to me within 24 hours. apparently hard ball is all they understand.
the following is from medpot.net

It took Health Canada 2 months just to respond to a letter that I faxed them. I even have had to get my MP involved in this. I recieved a FAX from Health Canada telling me that they are NOT going to allow me to grow at my new grow room because it is located TOO FAR from where I live. NOWHERE in our regulations does it state that you have to be a certain distance from your grow room all it states is that you CAN'T have a grow room located close to a school. If I have to I will take Health Canada to court to have this issue addressed. If Health Canada wants me to grow in Toronto then they are going to have to REIMBURSE me for all the $ $ $ spent on the new room.

Take Care and Peace
Marco
