I sometimes work in the mould remidiation field and have seen severe mold problems in homes that I know were never used for growing. You don't have to be a really messy grower to create a large mold problem, just not being aware about mould and its problems can be all it takes to turn your grow area into a place that is dangerous to all the occupants but especially the grower who spends more time in the area than any1 else. One method that can, and will cause mold is high humidity and misters. This topic is something that every grower should be aware of. When you seal off an area that has wood and sheetrock walls and ceilings, and then add high temp lights and water you have everything you need to create mould. This could become a problem to the grower, especially the people who have immune system problems and breathing problems. A grow area and it's surroundings should always be washed down with a 10% bleach solution after every grow. If you start to notice mold growing on any surface and the bleach solution doesn't work, you should remove the moldy section and replace with new material. One of the worst things to do is to cover the area with new material. The mold will still be there, growing as usual but you will no longer be able to visually monitor its condition and its growing route. And it will only be a matter of time before the mold will penetrate thru the new material. A Google search will give you all the info you need to learn how to prevent and fix mold problems. Mold can be a very dangerous situation to every1. And any home that has an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning) system can literally contaminate the entire house
