If I was Russell, I would sue the Ottawa Sun's "supposiTory ass" for public intimidation.

It's not because Russell use medical marijuana legally and the fact he's against prohibition that he should be labled as a "befuddled" person.

Daily medicinal cannabis users don't experience "fun" for getting high - we're not "befuddled".

It's fun when the pain goes away though - and that we're able to eat, avoid an epileptic seizure, muscle spasms, etc.

This media discrimination and intimidation has to stop, and I just hope that Russell will kick their ass!

The editors comment is uncalled for and even very disgusting and narrow minded to say the least. Russell Barth is a legal medical cannabis consumer which of course you know full well. Cannabis improves his quality of life, even our prohibition hungry government agrees no less, no surprise though the facts are in the public domain for all to see. I hope you or anyone close to you does not have to suffer a nasty illness in your lives. I will ask you to take the time to go to the local hospital and see the suffering people have to endure first hand. If cannabis or any other thing can reduce the suffering I am all for it 100%. Please open your eyes to peoples suffering, see it first hand, experience it (think clearly and honestly) about how you would feel in their shoes. Think about how your loved ones would feel watching you suffer needlessly like so many others do each and everyday no less.

As you said, the Ottawa Sun knows very well that Russell is legal for medical marijuana, and this type of treatment has to stop!

It's not because some people use cannabis for medicinal reasons (legal or not) that we should be considered as "druggies", "potheads" and now, "befuddled".

Enough is enough!

Diabetics shooting insuline are not treated this way - right?

Such an attack on Russell's reputation is an attack on ALL of us.

I know Russell personally, and he's FAR from being a befuddled person - whether he's under the effects of cannabis or not!

Russell is a clear-minded realistic person, and he's very intelligent!

The treatment that the whole Sun Media chain gives to the medical marijuana community is beyond believe. You treat us like low life and have now gotten to the point of making your unjust editorial comments personal. Its one thing to be funny but its another make your comments personal.

You should be offering Russell not only an apology for you derogatory remark but an opportunity to spread the truth. Isn't that what your suppose to be reporting, the truth. Why not allow the public to see the medical end instead of the criminal element that you love to embrass so much to sell your papers.
