Hi everyone, just though I'd drag myself out of the growroom and make myself availiable on a few forums and post some bud pictures. I've always been impressed by Treating Yourself since the first time seeing it. Good job, I look forward to every issue now.

Take care everyone

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. There sure seems to be lots of freindly, careing people here. Its nice to see this in our community.

Techniclly I'm a recreational user but I've used Marijuana to help my high anxiety and high blood presssure that seems to run in my family. 2 years ago my wife was in a car accident and now her use of Marijuana has drastically increased. She is suffering from nerve damage in her neck, shoulders, and back. Her doctor has said it has developed into fibro-mialga(bad spelling sorry) but she still has more tests to undergo. We have been disgusted in the way the health system has dealt with her health problem, they just wanted to hand out prescription drugs and pian killers. She has choosen a more naturalpathic way of dealing with it, Massage therapy, improved diet, and Marijuana for pain.
Some Marijuana strains really help with calming the spasming nerves and some agriavate it even more. I've been breeding for 10 years now and she has helped to test our strains for her ailment. I would like to help patients choose strians that work for them and there specific needs. Any feedback on strians for specific illness's would be great.

Thank everyone, take care

Growing Cannabis in an illegal environment causes alot of stress and anxiety, my solution is to smoke the flowers I grow...it a nice little circle I've got myself into.

I'm up to 480mg+/day now, and that's in addition to the dilaudid I take for breakthrough. Sigh.....gets pretty ridiculous, doesn't it?

But otherwise I'm in agony.....thank god for cannabis, that's all I can say. And for vaporizors.

From my experience with my wife's nerve and muscle pain the heavy Indica's worked much better. We had about 20 different strains grown out in the greenhouse this summer and the one that worked the best for her was the Romulan x Hashplant. She claimed everybud of this strain for her own medical needs.
The Romulan is used medically with alot of sucess, but it has a lower yield and is a little harder to grow than some strains. Another one I know that dulls pain is the Romulan x Grapefruit. Its a big yielding, strong grower even for beginers and it tastes great too.
Most of the sativas and some hybreds really made things worse...
SuperSilverHaze, Romulan/Diesel, Durban, all made her more sensitive to the pain, not good. Espesially Durban, it really bothered her. I really liked the Durban so there was more for me, a great cerebral high.
