I wish I had the room to grow like that and keep several strains alive at once. but if let my girls veg at full bore like that they overgrow my space limitations in about a week. lol someday if and when I ever move maybe.

thansk for your info..This is what makes your seed bank stand out from the rest..Feed back from the breeder him self!..I look forward to filling a room up soon with recon,You are right it is a little slow to veg and flower up at 1st but its started to get going now and tbh is 1 of the most beautiful plants iv ever seen..I think im oging to have to pull the tape messure out..Se what size this la leaf is..Iv never seen any thing like it in my garden before.:)

An energetic indica-dominant plant? Now that is unusual, yet there is no denying those are indica-broad leaves.

Are you sure there isn't some latent sativa in the heritage causing that "up" aspect, Monkey? I've never run into a "pure" indica that didn't result in couch-lock unless it was harvested early (i.e. while the trichs were still clear and milky with none of them turned amber, whereas I always waited for 25% amber, which would cure down to about 75% amber after 4-6 weeks.)

The thickness of that foliage has me longing to start my own garden again. Someday... :)

thanks for stopping by.I couldnt tell u buddie..This is the 1st time iv grown dna strains and so far im impressed.LA is a bit slow in veg but i head this is common in pure indicas,,I woudlnt know as this is the 1st time growing pure indica.Just starting to pack on resin and bud up.:) Life is good!

LA Con does have that "kush like" happy, happy, joy, joy cerebral effect...."well being and grinning"....not a sativa high...a kush high.

Till it decides to stick you to the couch with a big goofy smile.

It reminds me of a "tastier*" version of Bubba. I really like this strain.

*insane kushy smell and taste.

i took a wiff of my la last night, smells very grassy, like normal lawn grass, is this normal for this strain? its jus resining up. id post a pic but i need 15 posts first. looks a real beauty though. thick stem, low secondary growth, not sure if ill get much of it, but from what ive heard im sure looking forward to it.

im jus going to plant up my recon and cannadential, by the time there up ill hopefully hav my cam back from repair.

true-gent.....that pic looks just like bogs sourbubble bx3 that i grew out...and also like monkeys pics with the fat azzed, oversized leaves....and the fat stalk....looks like the same plant i had and what a waste of time it was to grow.

i vegged mine for four months and flowered for two more and i bet i didnt get a 1/2 z off of her.

dont get me wrong...it was some great smoke but for the time invested it was a disapointment.

i sure hope this la treats you better than the sb3 that i did.

well some some of u might know every thing come down on day 43 which i was pretty gutted about..i was pretty sure i was going to get raided so i cut my hole garden and got every thing out...its didnt ha[[en in the end but in them Senorios u can never be to careful..i have my freedom and im free to grow another day which u know me..i got new recon on the go..thread starting shortley.there ready to flwoer.wopwopwop

Iv never ever touched buds like this before...There so hard im think its going to brake some of my grinders teeth.. :p seriously there that hard its stupid!

The smell.not alot really..slight lemon hashy :eek: :p

the taste.not alot really.a little sweet but cutting it early i think cost me in taste and yeild. :eek: :p

Its a really nice smoke and very strong.Good weed for nighttime being 100% indica.

overall a poor yeilding strain,not much taste and no smell but it was very strong,.I would have to flower it again and take 60 days instead of day 43..really this smoke test isnt a fair one but iv done one none the less and its a fair one but cutting it at day 43 u cant really judge any thing by cutting it that early, so bare this in mind after reading this report.

it's odd i feel that plant was grown in hydroponics and the switched over to soil. i can't lie i'd go to soil everytime and recylce the soil. great looking plant by the way and i'm sure the smoke was a grand.

L.A. Confidential is the shit. I just grew out 3 for a medpot grow. I was a little worried that even the breeders talk about low yields. I vegged the plants to about 2'. Didnt have the patience to veg to 3 - 4' as recommended. There were two phenotypes. One was bush-like and had some branchy that produced rock hard, resin coated buds. the other tended to bud right up the stalk and was finished faster.

Proud to say that I got 2 ounces from two plants and 2.5 from the other. Some of the best I've grown and the lady I grow for is ecstatic. Very medicinal, very night time smoke. Only used worm castings, bat guano and molasses. It's a keeper!!!!

Hello,

I am a new grower. I was impressed with all of the awards this strain has won so I ordered 6 seeds. I have done a lot of research on the web about growing.

I received the 6 seeds within a week. I was very impressed with the speed of delivery. I germinated only 3 and held the other 3 seeds for another day. These seedlings were baby sat and loved. All 3 germinated within 2 days but my results weren't that great afterwards. One never grew any higher than 1 centimetre, and then died some 16 days into life. The other 2 grew to about 6cm when the second one died. I was devastated. The 3rd is currently doing very well and is about 10cm in height.

She is under a 1000watt metal halide light right now in my small grow room.
