ordered and grew C4 and frostbite from this company. the c4 did not produce as advertised and the frostbite was a severe disappointment from germ to harvest. bad genetics

you want a strain report. ok, then i bought the C4 which was advertised as explosive in the last weeks of flowering. i grew this out using the seeds as total harvest as i always do. i take my clones early but only keep the best totally grown out pheno's. the C4 did not pack on any weight in the last 3 weeks and proved to be a medium THC powered herb that lacked taste, smell or any medical value at all. the frostbite, of which i got 2 females from was green in color, nothing akin to the "pretty pics" and very dissapointing in taste, while it had some power in pain relief; it was nothing compared to bluemoonshine or white russian, not like any of the whites or blues that i have encountered.

Personally I don't trust most seedbanks. I think they laugh as they send the rich americans the shitty pheno's seeds. Never heard from a experienced grower that he bought his amazing strains online.

Try a reputable BANK like Legends or Spice of Life, or even the Ontario seedbank then tell me you cannot get your seeds from the internet/mailorder. I know a few of thes people by personaly growing out their stock, they are honest for the most part and I am sure they will stay that way, watch out for REEFERMAN as DMT has done it's damage

I have not bought a bunch of seeds from seed banks due to poor results, but I do test runs for various breeders and if the seeds are free I can pour more money into the technical end of growing, like nutes, lights and the growing medium.
I am curious about gandolph62 comments on Reeferman and ?DMT? please explain your comment. I must be missing something.

I in all fairnes I was TOLD this by more than 2 coofeeshop owners and one seed company owner (in Amsterdam) that he has ripped of or left UNPAID bills which others had to cover, this was relayed to me at 07 cann cup, just wouldn't trust someone with my money knowin this. was my point!!
I also get free seeds, nutes lights to do most my growing/experimenting on so I really have NO BIAS

It is also one of the main ingredients of Ayahuasca which is a trip you will only do if you really want to see into yourself, ( not reccomended for faint of heart 8 hours of.... ) I tried once for immune booster seemed to work

I believe that motarebel is a seed producer that you might want to check into if you want only quality medical grade mj...Since motarebel specializes in only medical grade seeds. Aliengrowshop sells some of his strains. Hope this helps. Cheers

This is really funny. Hi all,I,m new here at TY. I've been out of the loop for 3 yrs now,sence my arrest an conviction for unlawful cultivation [I was very depressed, go figure].These last few years have been pretty bad, med marj wise for myself an everyone here in Maine. I've come too the conclusion I must start up again. I was a Cbay JUNKIE for years,now they are gone. So I've been reading all sorts of web sites for a month now.I have narrowed my breeders down too 3 , JD Short, Legends,and Chimera.
I started reading this thread an was sure I was down too 2 breeders.Well , Chimera your a stand up person. Thanks . Funny, now which strain to start with,C+,Mental Floss or ???

In regards to the above posts that you laude for their 'honesty':

there were no threads, pics etc documented in regards to the complaint. Nor was there any subsequent contact for seed replacement as offered.

This report is at odds with literally hundreds of reports on these varieties spread across the internet on various forums.

I stand behind all our products, and the many positive grow reports certainly are at odds with the complaint issued here.

Additionally, I have not received any contact from the complaining users to claim replacements.... take it as you will.

I've bought a couple weeks ago mental floss from drchronics.com..
I'm not a new grower,but I know also that I'm not a pro,But I know that it is a remote possibility that the seeds taken in the "web store" can give u some old seeds,and so the germination can be difficult..

I hope in a great germination,and a great growing of these (i've heard) so awesome strain...

Exactly... I make it a point to throw the crappiest looking seeds from every seed harvest into a cup of water just to see if they'll pop. I'm talking undeveloped, brown seeds that look more like big prill farmer fertilizer and they normally germinate. By far most times it's the impatient grower that messes things up, not all the time mind you, but most!!!

Well Chimera doesn't appear to be known as post fanatic, I get the impression he doesn't have internet service.

As for the dad used in the latest round of seeds, it was DJ Shorts' True Blueberry pollen, same pollen used by DJ, Chimera, Legends and not to mention SoL uses a fair amount of DJ's related genes and I could have missed a bank using the TB father.

Outlaw Grower did a review of Mental Floss in TY#9 p129 / p47 part2 that begins with "The most underrated and overlooked gem I’ve come across yet is “Mental Floss.”

Heath Robinson, the mod famous for ridiculously heavy yields under vertical lighting, used C4 in his C4*Black Russian cross and remarked on HG420 that he's surprised more people don't grow Chimera gear, my memory is a little hazy but I seem to remember Heath holding C4 in high esteem.

I decided to order both Mental Floss and Mountain Jam based on grow reports and pics... the pics, no better sales pitch than a random grower with a random seed growing a beautiful purple gem and raving about the quality.

I picked up SEVEN packs of Cannacopia seeds after Chimera vouched for them on another forum, they picked up a few clones from him and the mothers were put to good use.

Mountain Jam was in my garden along with GF*BB, circumstances required me to abandon the garden but even the little vegging clones looked phenomenal, I actually said out loud "WOW, soulshine must be one hell of a mom!" because even in veg the clone was packing on the weight with a very full structure and the grapefruit hybrid was only slightly behind.

My Mental Floss grow yielded a very unique plant that carried a cool noxema/menthol flavor and a very positive headspace. Cold Noxema might not sound appealing, but the plant sure was.

The only problem I've had with Chimera's gear was when I had the bright idea to open the shipping container with a razor blade, well that's two beans down but not as bad as when I used a small screwdriver to push 10 Kalichakra seeds through their plastic tube and only 5 came out :o

Normally I probably wouldn't jump in to drone on about a breeder (notice my post count and join date), but with only 3 threads and one titled 'not good' a newbie on the seed scene might think Chimera was BC Bud Depot or something - a company with such a bad reputation that people inquire if Hemp Depot is reliable simply because of 'depot'

Gandalph62, if you contact Chimera at another help desk and direct him to this thread I'm sure he'll still make you happy. On his former HG420 help desk (the site is gone now) he offered to replace seeds that most likely died from grower error, if I remember right the complaint was over a few beans and Chimera sent a full pack of Sweet Pink Grapefruit * True Blueberry (also sold as Sweet tooth 1.1 by Spice of Life and Legends).
