HELLO FELLO TYERS, just thought I'd drop a few lines here and say that I DONT feel like I should be here at TY . WHY you may ask, well let me tell you why I feel this way.I've been a member since 2003 , I've was accepted because a had hep c , a medical condition that at the time , made me pretty sick, went through the peg- intron shots for 3 months , couldnt complete the program cause the side effects were horrible , almost died from all of the drugs the doctors gave me during that time. but since then I'VE recovered and have returned to my occupation as a construction worker and have had a liver test and doc say that my liver is functioning normal again. But sometimes I wonder if it ( hep c) has completely dissappeared or if it is in remission. well either way , I feel normal again , and I dont get as sick as I used to.Oh I should mention here that all during this time present and past that I've been using the god made plant and will till the day I cant . So with this said I'd like to know if I'm still welcomed here. well I'd like to say that TY (marco) and tyers have been good to me here and very helpful. you all have made me at home here, and that I very much appreciate it very much. thank you and may god bless you all.

Of COURSE you are still welcome here!

We accept rec and med users are members alike. Besides you have been part of the family and just getting better is no reason for that to come to an end. :P

Glad to hear you are doing better and hope stays in remission!

Thank you all for your warm acceptance and support here, for it is truly a example of what this place is made of... people who care for one another .striving in life to make our world a better place to live , even with illness in our bodies and mind , we all still do what we can for our fello brother or sister. Yes you are right PHLOVER , just because I get well, doesnt mean that I should forget the people who have helped me in the past. I will remain active as member here and help who I can . I know that my geno type was one of the ( so the doctor says) easiest to get rid of , but going thru the treatment of peg-intron was not. And I would like to say that I dont concider myself a recreational user, my life has been hard ( just like everybody else ) since I was young growing up on the rez and having not much and a father who drank excessively. And also having had a severe head injury when i was about 5, that when I first tried smoking a bowl it was like a mireacle medicine it made me feel good and Ive using it ever since. some people like too take aspirin , I like to roll one .thats my medicine cause it works.and I'd like say that when i was on the peg teatment , medical was the only thing that helped with the side effects. When I get sick with the flu or a cold , medical is the wonder drug that helps ease the pain ,misery that comes from being sick . :) Of coarse you all know this, and thats one of the reasons that we are all here, through our persistance , we are slowing educating the world a bout the positive that some find so negative.and with this said , I would like to again thank you marco, ojibman, lucy, raton, happy, and all that i forgot to mention. May some day the world become as one , filled with colors of the rainbow, and hearts filled with love of the universe. may the great spirit be with you all.

Koda, is there anything that I can do for you?

02-28-2007, 11:05 AM
hey zig , thanks for reminding me of them side effects , made my stomach turn at the reminder of those shots , had all except the seziures , but I think if I would of continued with the treatment they would of followed shortly there after, the one main reason the doctors and I both agreed to quit the program was because I was getting to were I was losing my mind and I felt one mourning like tearing the flesh from my arms , like i felt i was going crazy , i just couldnt take it any more , I broke down when I told the doctor what i was going thru .they immediately had me check myself into hospital to get checked out and for more medications, after which was the last time I ever touched the intron ever again.except when i got home I threw the last remaining shots away. And Buffalo Bill ... you already have . By you helping my brother you help me . we thank you bro.
