There are only four Men’s consoling services in Canada. I was invited to attend one on Stress and evaluate how it might be useful and what place it has in our Harm Reduction strategy in Manitoba. Many men are to macho to admit they could use consoling for many of their problems. Many male gendered men are physically and mentally abused by their spouses for many reasons and require shelter in some cases. It offers limited service compared to Women Resource Centres but then we are macho right because where Men. They offer many areas of consoling. The Stress and relaxation was from 10AM-4PM and was a worth while.

Who of course isn't quite in the same thinking pattern as males.....we know that giggles..........
Thinks that adding any tools to the tool chest is awesome idea.
I have been looking for single male parenting programs for my 23 year old son son who just found out he was a daddy of a 3 1/2 year old adorable little doll named Desiree. That there are precious few male programs at all. Why shouldn't the males have access to all the programs available to women. Services seem to be available to single moms. We need to include men in lots more programs. It will be more beneficial for everyone.
Just my thoughts.
