Purple Urkle(Clone Only) X Space Queen( BCGA)

This Indica dominant hybrid has a great taste and out of a 5 plant test run all 4 females turned a nice shade of purple with warm temps throughout. Our goal was to recreate the nice grape flavor but ad some speed to the slow Urkle mom and the results are better than we expected and finding 2 keeper moms from the very small test run we did. Results from the field verify mild variation, good yields and fantastic flavor and colors.


1) Phenotypes –Two main females one Short and very purple with grape flavors, the variation is a slightly more SQ dom with a taller frame and more sativa buzz.
2) Height- Short and dence does well un topped but faster than Urkle.
3) Yield-Medium to heavy if extended veg time is given mainly due to bud density.
4) Indoor has only been tested so far
5) Best way to grow-Vegged to a large bush Or untopped in scrog.
6) Harvest Window-8 weeks
7) Sativa/Indica 20/80
8) Hybrid- Urkle x Space Queen
9) High type- Indica head and grape taste make it total all day headstash.
10) Smells Grapes, fruit, berries, musty
11) One of my favorite things to smoke out of a clean bong the flavor is just amazing and IMO better than Mom.

I take back what I have said not all Purple reefer sucks. Both these amazing females taste like smoking Grape candy or a Nehi soda. The buzz is Indica dom and the buss is sedating and warm. You can sit and smoke this shit all day you just can't move well after a few bowls.

I really have never ever grown anything that was a pure purple looking strain like your Querkle ! Before I die I got to grow me something purpley potent! I hope at least. My hunt will not end by golly! Sub please let me know how much and where or when can I get some Querkle seeds.

So when do we get to give it a go in the TY Garden? No rush though as we already have our hands full for the next 3 grows. We do have TGA Genetics in there just not the Querkle.

No we can't give seeds away online at TY due to my ongoing legal battles. But there is nothing stopping me from growing!

The proof is in the pudding, and the purple pixs are amazing.

From my search of sellers of Subcool's strains, the Urkle seems to be one of Subcool's rarer strains (I know Meduser--one of the few sellers besides cannaseur and breedbay--only had two packs). This may be because it is one of his newer strains, or mass consumer desire for a purple strain with huge medical power punch like that the Urkle packs.

Check out the newest Skunk Magazine (vol. 3, issue 3), and Subcool's very informative article, "The Color Purple". In the article, Subcool explains the main reasons for purple coloration: change of temperature of 20-30 degrees inside/seasonal changes outside, genetics, and his nutrient-induced, color-changing trick called the "fade". There are some great pictures of Subcool's Sputnik (pinky pheno), and MzJill's Black Russian.
