I have a 4x4 homebox with a 400 watt. I am considering adding fluoros to the sides and/or back. I figure i can hang them down vertically so they are perpendicular to the floor, that is, parrallel to the sides. Any suggestions as to the length of bulbs, amount of bulbs, different bulbs for vegging/flowering? Also interested in ideas for maximizing growth potential in the homebox: more light, CO2, scrog, - How many plants would be too many once they start to flower?

The other thread on t5's is too technical for me. I'm looking for brands, types and experiences that have already worked for people.

I have a HomeBox XL myself.....with a 400 & 600 in it. Prior to that I was running a C13 cab with a 400 or 600w lamp inside depending on the time of year (heat issues) and other factors.

Keep in mind that some fluoros have such a low light density that you're actually blocking more reflected light from the white poly walls of the HomeBox than you're providing with the fluoro tubes...
