Ok i found my nausea treated by MMJ. It beat everything I tried hands down. During the day drink lots of Propel. It was recommended by my chemo Dr. and was a great help. Vitamins help too. Try drinking "Sleepytime Extra" before bedtime...it really does help. I drank 2 cups every night before bed and it really helped a lot.

There are a number of family members whom are fighting the dragon, so welcome to TY! Iron free multi vitamins, maximum milk thisilte, salmon oil, Selenium, vitamin d and Calcium are all over the counter products that my liver transplant specialist insists that I take and so far am not on the dreaded list! I also take spirono/altactdazide for anti water retention and lactulose for portal hypertension. Both allow me to purge the excess ammonia that my liver is no longer catching from my system in a timely manner to keep the encephalopathy (brain fog) away. Low salt and low protein diets help, as well.
Hope all of this might help you! Take care and be well....

u take good care of yourself b-bill:). BabyGirl2-i would listen to b.b.'s advice on what he takes. I would also stay away from red meats. As far as nasuea--i can relate--im not too sure why(havent been to the doctors for a while) but when ever i eat it usually comes back up. The only time i can eat and hold it down is by smoking a MMR strain that gives me mad munchies(mostly deep, strong indicas--some strong saltivas work also--but they have to be real strong). I use to weigh 235--now im down to 162 from 9 months ago-- so it seems i can use some advice also huh. I think ill follow this thread also cause im doing something wrong.

Funk, I have actually gained 25#'s since my chemo ended. Try Ensure. There is also another brand that tastes better but i can't remember the name. I also found the yogurt smoothes they sell in stores stayed down pretty well. Propel has vitamins and minerals in it and comes in many flavors. I highly recommend it. Stay hydrated.

My future mother in law is currently undergoing Interferon treatment that will last for 6 month i believe. Unfortunately she is a recently recovering meth/heroin addict (25 years) so no doctor will give her anything for pain, nausea, ect. I would listen to what the folks here say as they have some really good information and experience.

If you can handle it I would suggest trying oral cannabis but if you can keep it down that won't work. If you can tho it should help with everything but the bloating.

ive had to drink ensure for a while before i was diagnosed w/ colitis towards the end i couldnt hold down any solid food so i would sip water and sports drink throughout the day with some generic ensure as well as tolerated was about 2 cans a day for a couple weeks but its been a while since ive been that sick, ive been taking probiotics for a little while and think that has been helpfull in addition to my meds from my gi doc as well as natural supplements hes aware of and approves, and my cannamedicine has been the biggest help in reducing my intestinal cramps and helps with the inflamation during flare ups...the o-90 i grew helped me with pain and nausea but the love potion helped with my appetite better and made me feel better and gave me a little energy and that was realy important cause my hemoglobin was at 8.0 and i felt fatigued constantly...i hope you find the strains that help you best:)

WOW!!!!! I am overwhelemed!!!! Funk I'm pretty much in the same position. My roomate left and now I'm divorced with three children struggling to make it on my own.....

All the meds the Dr's gave me for nausea, bloating and pain did not work for onr reason or another???? I've tried the settling the stomach approach as well. I can't afford to shell out huge bucks for this n that.....

The Dr. that I got my Legal MMJ recomendation from looked me straight in the eye and swore MMJ would do exactly what I need. I don't know what it was about that man but, Truth just seemed to eminate from his sole to mine.....

When I can I will add the vitamin supplements, as they are just plain good for ya. Right now I'm determined to test his theory with MMJ. I just don't know which strain???? I thank all of you for the honest and heart felt remidies....None of the man made pharmaphsuticals have benefited, as of yet. I'n fact, most have made my symptoms worse!!! I hope mother nature is the answer!!!

I will keep tracking this thread and trying each suggestion, as I can afford them. My first goal though, is to get my MMJ meds and try the natural path....I hope this makes sense??? I just don't respond to unatural remedies for some reason???? I get much worse!!!

Has anyone found a particular strain that helps relieve one or more symtoms, is why I started this thread. I adore all your comments but, please help me find a MMJ strain.

I really really could use reefermans Kodiak Gold. He claims it works for Hep C. Their out of stock and will not answer my emails at all????? I do not know what else to do other than ask my friends here at TY for guidance....

Again, thanks for all the wonderful replies no matter which direction you feel is helpfull I respect everyones input!!!!!

Nirvana carries White Rhino and that will do the trick for you. At least, it did for me! Most of the things that I mentioned are natural. Milk Thistle is a MUST! No alcohol, low salt and protein are mandatory for you to do.
I have a friend who only smokes mj, and takes milk thistle and drinks aloe vera juice. And he, like myself, has actively been fighting the dragon for 15 years!

I found that most Heavy Indicas work for the nausea. I would try and stay away from 100% Sativas as I found them to really mess me up with my mood swings. I have been told that I get very aggitated when using these strains. I do like Sativas though so I go for the 50/50 variety for daytime use.

Take Care and Peace
Marco

Milk Thistle huh????

I'll check that one out..

WHAT no beer???????? LOL. J/k.

White Rhino you say.....another ave. to check out.

I agree with the Sats. I can't take the racy stuff it's too much. I love the serious Creeper and Couchlock!!!!!!

Thanks all. I've alot of reading and investigating to do now. See asking you guys is the best move I've made in awhile. Several of the suggestions I haven't heard before. Time to get a move on!

Marco.....

You recomended Chemo x Grapefruit. Where can I look these over? I like the idea of a grapefruit, lemon, cherry, orange or blueberry tase. Does weed really posess these flavors? All I've tasted is gravel, ash, dirt, hay, butt crack, the city dump pheno or old lawn clippings.

Conassure = robbing Bill Gates?????? I lost my Nixxon mask last election????

Any suggestions on the breeder of the most potent, best yield, and or best flavor White Rhino???? Nirvana is cheap but are they really the best choice? I'd much rather wait a bit and save a few more buckaroos for a better project!

Sorry...You did say White Label...My Bad!

Hi BabyGirl2,
My name is John and I also have Hep C.What exactly is gastroparesis?I also suffer from those symptoms and I go get tested for a hole in my stomach in a couple weeks? Not sure if they are related but symptoms are the same and it seems to restrict my breathing.
Also can anyone recommend a strain that is good at keeping my uncontrolable bad thoughts and panic attacks under control.Since I have started smoking MMJ they have been really controled but last night I thought I was going to end up in the hospital with a massive panic attack.I couldn't sleep I was in tears. It was awful..This has been building for probably 2 weeks.

Thanks,

John

Hi Shiva....Gastroparesis is a condition in which the stomach takes much longer than normal to empty. You fill up faster...It seems. And with it comes nausea, terrible bloating and insane pain in my case.....

If you are having bad thoughts.....I'd step back and rethink MMJ.....Some folks experiance worse episodes whilst taking MMJ. I'd suggest talking seriously with someone first....

Sativas can induce more panic so I'd definatly go light on them until you get a real diagnosis my friend!!! Indicas can produce paranoia so I'm really not sure if this med is right for you but thats just my opinion?

Hopefully someone more experianced can answer your question better.

Good luck to you and I do hope you find help which ever avenue you decide to take......

Hi,
When I wasn't using MMJ I was in the hospital on a weekly/bi-weekly basis with panic attacks.Since I went back on weed I have not once been to the hospital.I came close once but that was a day I was not feeling well so I definately did not smoke much.I am a member of TCC and trust them. Before I started smoking I was couch locked and tired all the time.Since back smoking I have since built a deck, built a hallway, built a new bathroom, not getting yelled at by my wife.I think it is a godsend...

Funk can you explain Perpetual grow in summary????? Sounds interesting.
Indicas usually take 2 months to finish in flower as well as some saltivas. Basically with this methode you can harvest every month. You start of with a mom/clone room where you leave the light on 24/7 to keep them in veg and to root your clones. Now you set up a flower room(seperate from the veg room and light proofed) and have the lighting schedual on 12 houres of light and 12 houres of dark to induce the flower cycle to you plants. Now after your clones have rooted and developed the way you want it too before flower you can put a number of plants you want into flower. While those are flowering you then take more clones off you mom plant and root and veg them and then put those into flower a month after the first set so you will harvest every month.

basic layout
1.room for moms and clones(you can also have a seperate are for the clones if you desire)
p.s.--you can clone and grow your mom plants under floresent lights/compact florescent light's to save on energy, reduce heat, reduce stress to the plants. Clones root very well under 6500k spectrums or towards the blue spectrums but any light will work of course:)
2. room for flower(just remember you need to double the light output for flowering plants for them to go into flowering and yeild what you expect-so if you veg with 150 watts, then flower with 300-400 watts and so on.)

the leagal limit in my state is 6 in flower so every month i would put 3 in flower every month and harvest 3 every month and keep the cycle going so you have an endless supply of meds:)

Thanks Funk......

I can do that! I need to brush up on cloning and making and maintaining a mom. Looks like I need to get reading now. I have the rooms arranged already. Thanks for the insight! Hopefully when I receive the right meds I can get this program underway. I wan't to be self sufficient. Thank you so much for taking the time to help a seasoned beginner....Now if I could just win one of those contests...Lol.

Ok, off I go to do some more homework!
