Well i got beef with soma so here it is;
when his soma nycd's came out about 2 years back they were mislabelled as being feminized and therefore sold at a premium price. I think I paid around 270 for 10 beans. I wasn't bitter until I grew them out.
I have 3 unpopped; but of the 7 only 1 female came out. This female looked good up until about the 4th week of flower where she'd start to banana. This was not a grower error on my part for the same clone was grown in 2 separate locations to ensure it wasnt grower error or light leak or any of that.. tho if you saw the profusage of bananas and the overall health of the plant you'd agree it was simply a hermaphrodite.. something i was never expected from mr soma. I still harvested my hermy ended up with a shitload of seeds and terrible bud. Soma told me in a PM years ago he'd make it right; old hippie aint done nothing.. i wont ever touch his beans again.
