i had won some beans a while back in chat. i was sent six lowryder beans. recently i was blessed with lowryder x chemo beans as well. i started these beans in a paper towel. all of them had sprouted and went in there own containers but only 15 broke thru the dirt. out of them there ate two more that really need to be pulled. i been growing these with daylight floros. and using a little b-52, fulvic acid and humic acid. here are some pics at week two. there are a few nice ones.
edit: the plants in the front row are my c-99 moms and my humboldt snow moms
edit: the lowryders are in the one gallon pots

i dunno what happened coco, but seem easy enough to grow if ya can get them to pop thru the soil.
update. i have two pure lows that have started to flower...one male and one female. the rest are getting big.
i was assured when i aquired these beans that they did in fact autoflower so now i am hoping that the crosses just get an extra week of veg than the pure lows...longer veg= bigger plants...this should be intersting.
i have started giving them advanced nuterients a@b grow formula, fulvic, humic acids, b-52, sensizime, ALL at half the recomended strenth, and have not used the voodoo juice, as these nutes are very strong and dont want to have a repeat of what happened last winter. some of you might of remembered that i burned my plants....still got a fair harvest but they really never recovered. probally woulda doubled my yeild...woulda, coulda, shoulda...i am in the now

I said the same about LR, other than its stealth capabilities, the yield, potency just didn't make it with me, or others in my group. I was quite dissapointed by it. the chemo(mom)xLR(dad) does fair better in both catagories. Mi9ne has a nice lemony pine smell and will be done next week or so. it was a test so I'll post the results when the time comes.

So far I have found that the G13 x Hashplant x Lowryder cross to be the most potent of them. Anyone that has a chance to grow out this cross should try it.

Hi S a H, Did the G13 x Hashplant x Lowryder auto-flower?
How long did it take to fiinnish from the day it sprouted?
How tall did it get and what was the yield?

Hi Slater, When you pollinate Lowryder when they are short they tend to be a little smaller at harvest. Also if you want beans from them they take a lot longer than 8 weeks. I let mine go about 13+ weeks.

The only AF's I had were males but from seed to harvest was about just short of 3 months. This was my second grow attempt so I wasn't knowing what to look for etc... in deciding when to harvest and I was starting to get some PM. Also at this point I had no scale but I had about 1 1/4 quart size jars almost full from each. Here is a picture of them. Oh and was like 22-23 inches.

This is gonna be my fall/winter project.. I have about 20 seeds left and well do a seed run and hopefully be lucky enough to get one of each sex that AF's so I can try and take it one more step to being 100%. If not than I well be happy for a good male that AF's so I can keep it going till the next run.

ok this grow is about done for now. the chemo/lr have shown no signs of af so they were put outside where they can grow on there own. i did save some pollen from the pure lr male and will hit a few branches of the cross when the time seems right and see if i can get this strain to eventually af.
as far as the lr female, she is a joke. when all is said and done i would of been lucky to get one gram of bud off of her. today i pollunated her and will see if i have any better luck with her offspring in the fall...so stay tuned. i wont give up that easily, and maybe something good can come out of all of this.
i did soak what i am told were 10 pure jd lowryder beans.( they even came in the lr packaging) 24 hours have passed and 7 have shown signs of sprouting. will do a full report soon. wish me luck. peace

my chemo x LR all autoflowered in the 3rd week of veg. I only had three though in the last grow, and the last one is coming off nutes for flushing right now. Its 18 in and fully seeded. I "crossed" this with a mandarin dream male that was absolutely loaded with flowers from head to stem. the seeds coming out of this and the brainwreck that was crossed as well. are jet black. I've never seen seeds this black before. Kindo has me really interested in getting some of these started soon. BTW the crossing of the BW and the chemo/lr was purely by accident. I didn't notice the male pod on the MD until after it had opened and I thought I got it out of there in time before it did its dirty deed, but not the case, another fully seeded grow. I really didn't need that as this is the second fully seeded crop in a row.

Update.
These Chemo Plants Have Been Outside For 13 Days. I Had One Male Flower Already And Picked It. Still Waiting For Them To Show Flowering.
These Chemo Joined Another Garden That I Started A Week Before They Actually Went In. You Can Really See The Differnce As I Used A 2 Litre Bag Of Miracle Grow Moisture Plus When I Planted The Humboldt Snows And C-99. The Hs Was Just Some Extras I Had Lying Around And The C-99 Are From Some Clones I Took For Someone And They Never Picked Them Up.
I Havent Had Any Problems With Digouts With This Spot As You Can See I Added Some Fencing. I Lost 25 Plants To Digouts This Year, 24 Of Them As Soon As I Planted Them. I Like Using Fencing But Its Harder To Conceal In The Early Spring. I Think Next Year I Will Invest In Some Plastic Fencing And See How That Works. You Can Get A 7 X 100 Ft Roll For Like 10 Bucks Or Less. If You Save One Plant In That Spot You Paid For The Fencing.

lol, Slater ya have to em run longer when preggo'd. That way yer beans are mature enough to germ well for ya. I know......sometimes it seems like you are the only one not havin any lcuk with these lowryders, but I go through it too. These are easily breedable plants though. What I mean is you can keep breeding for more disreable traits. I.E. autoflowering, bigger lanky phenos, bigger full phenos, small spindly phenos, small little nug size phenos. If you would have been lucky enough to grow out any of MDanzig's BBXLR that Marco had here last year, you would've been quite pleased with the LR crosses that I can garuntee. I also struggle with some of the other crosses, but if they don't twist my cork, then out they go and try some more. These do produce very good pain relieving nugs that can be made to work for ya but it takes a ton of patience. Good luck with the rest of your growin! I think what ya have so far looks great.

yeah i know about letting them go longer some say 4 weeks but i am gonna let them go six to make sure they are done.
what i was trying to say was that these just dont look ripe at 8 weeks. its probally just the strain...its differnt in all aspects.

when the beans start to drop on thier own, then they're ready, and this is going to be around 9 weeks at least for the chemo/lr. the med effect is going to be seriously impacted as well, both due to seeding and the length of time required for the seeds to finish. so better watch the trichs for some amber, if you want to salvage any meds at all.
great reporting slater, thanks

naw im not concerned about the meds ...just a seed crop. the chemo crosses i only had two males af, i put them outside and am still waiting for them to show sex. will be crosing again with lowryder pollen when they are ready. the pure lowryder is the only one that i have polunated so far...stay tunes. peace
