I picked up the domain name http://www.cannabishelpsme.com today, and I have a rough idea of what I'd like to do with it. I can use some help though, so if this sounds good to you, throw some ideas in this thread and we'll see what we can come up with.
This is still really rough, since I just thought of it a couple hours ago. But so far, this is it:
I want to put together a website where people can fill out a web based form, and give information on what cannabis does to improve their life. I also want to highlight all the crap all you federal exemptees have to go through thanks to HELLth Canada. Federal exemptees will have their own category, and they will be able to share their horror stories for the whole world to see.
I also want to have a category for medical users who are not exemptees, where they can talk about their frustrations with being turned down by HELLth Canada, or giving up on the system entirely. They can also talk about all the benefits cannabis provides in their life, and what it is like to live in constant fear of being arrested because their medicine is considered illegal.
I want to have a section with TONS of information and links showing the benefits of cannabis, focusing on studies, etc to prove it's effectiveness.
Basically, I want to build an area where we can show our numbers, and get some media coverage on this so we can embarrass HELLth Canada into backing down on their current policy of harassing licensed users though their doctors. There is an estimated 1 million medical users in Canada. Everyone has internet access now, so it shouldn't be hard to rack up some serious numbers on this site if it is done right.
This will be really hard for the feds to ignore.
Anyone got any ideas? Likes? Dislikes? Concerns? I'm sick of sitting back and watching the government abuse my friends. It's time to hit them where they are going to feel it... in the court of public opinion.
