Multiple sclerosis is increasingly being recognized as a neurodegenerative disease that is triggered by inflammatory attack of the CNS. As yet there is no satisfactory treatment. Using experimental allergic encephalo myelitis (EAE), an animal model of multiple sclerosis, we demonstrate that the cannabinoid system is neuroprotective during EAE. Mice deficient in the cannabinoid receptor CB1 tolerate inflammatory and excito toxic insults poorly and develop substantial neurodegeneration following immune attack in EAE. In addition, exogenous CB1 agonists can provide significant neuroprotection from the consequences of inflammatory CNS disease in an experimental allergic uveitis model. Therefore, in addition to symptom management, cannabis may also slow the neurodegenerative processes that ultimately lead to chronic disability in multiple sclerosis and probably other diseases.

Well when it comes to theft of this and other articles, there is no such thing when it comes down to knowledge and information and science. I encourage everybody to do the same as you Storm Crow its so important to show the science behind our arguments.
They call us "Stoners" & "Pot Heads" and some say were the scourge of society
Their wrong the science proves them wrong, I don't hold it against a Doctor for not knowing the Science behind Marijuana as their controlling body be the AMA or the CMA does not want them to treat us with the so called unconventional therapies.

So when a old Doc one over 50 years of age or what ever age who slogs out his or her day in the office treating flues hang nails and so on. He or she read their Journals and never see this stuff or they see it and scan it and just reads on because their told this is an unconventional therapy and should not be encouraged by that Doc for his or her patients.

So blow the lid off it, give the Peer reviewed science its seems that this is all they will except.Maybe you will see a change of opinion in this one person and they will take a deep breath and think to themselves holy crap maybe these so called Potheads are on to something here, I should take a closer look.

Times they are a changing, not all Doc's disagree with us and we seem to be slowly changing their tune.
Storm Crow when I find a paper that backs everything I have always believed its one of the best highs I can get.
So please spread everything far and wide and not just you StormCrow everybody should be doing this, and hey we might even be able to change LEO's view on it.
