Well did some time with the 31st Americal in 2corp and was on guard watch for uncle ho,s trail and we did get support from time to time from a USMC support brigade. I brelieve it may have been the 5th but when ever they came around things where usually pretty hot!
Rare that any mixing of units but if your ass was under the gun and they had more than we did and we killed 3X the number we had and they kept on coming we did put a call out for ANY help. At CamDuc we had the assist of the big bad bangbangs. But only if we faced the T-72s that the NVA got from the Russkis or the Chinese. Sorry cant say more but i was there and and maybe a few too many 12 pounders went off too close to the old head!Well God Bless All Who Fight And All Who Come Home. And too those who we left under the bush or did not find i say Oha Wasta Degataga! Sempri Fi Bro!
