Goodbye Buddy

Today at 6:30 pm my fiance and I put our beloved border collie Oreo to sleep. he was losing his fight with cancer and was in too much pain so we did the right thing. We will miss him dearly but now he can chase the squirrels for all eternity.

Its hard when you lose part of your family, may he rest in peace.

We lost our Springer Spaniel in April, and I still find myself looking around the back of the garage looking for her.:)

Sorry to hear, putting pets down is a very hard thing to do, if not as hard to see them in such pain. If its one thing that Disney got right, it would probably be all dogs go to heaven. :)

AWEEEEEEEEEEE I'm so sorry ya's had to go through this:o just remeber he's in doggy heaven now and ya's will hook up later. I just put down my 12 year old cat 3 months ago,ripped my heart right out! He was having mini strokes so after a day of watching that the decision wasn't hard. What was hard is taking him to the vets! Wishing ya's the best..........Take care

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know how I will deal with it when my Boopie goes, but God willing that won't be for a long time yet.

I know it seems quick, but the love and neediness of a new pet can help with the loss.

I won't tell you my 'story' since I always find that when you have lost someone, everyone else tries to tell you a story to make things feel better.
