I have two going that I am going to be using in a new Autoflower cross. I had dropped the light schedule down to 16/8 to sex them and a male showed after a week on that schedule. Well after two weeks of being on that schedule the other never showed sex and I have it vegging with some flowering BlueStreak. So lastnight I went ahead and bumped the light time back 18/6 for the benefit of the BS.
I am hoping because the second was taking to long its like most other females out there taking forever to get dressed to go out. So i'll cross it to itself and a run of Blue Streak starting the process of a new AF cross. So expect alot of medical testing on TY of LM and BS cross. Oh and they are a month old.

Yes it was quite a mad dash for these Lisa Marie, SD IBL and the StrawBerry Diesel. I managed to get two packs of these and I still have 15 seeds left after this to work with. They have a distinc sour smell to them but I am impressed so far with them but we have aways to go.

As wary as I am about ruderalis crosses because of the reduction in quality/potency versus non-AF strains, it sure would be wonderful to be able to start growing from the very beginning of the outdoor season and start pulling in harvests before Spring is even over! Of course if one is really adventurous and lives in a warm area you could try to use the short period of 12/12-ish light in early Spring to flower for you, but the lengthening days are less than ideal for that and up here in northern New England that's not a realistic option.
If I can see reviews of true AF'ing strains that deliver medicinal effects on par with anything in the family of leading medicinal genetics.....then I'm all for it!
So far, in my own breeding efforts, I've avoided Ruderalis containing strains because I'm focused on yield, quality of effects (pain relief, anxiety/depression/stress relief, nausea/vomiting prevention) and mold resistance as my primary considerations. Since I'm a relatively advanced soil grower (though a hydro n00b), I figured that unless there was no downside to AF genetics that I'd be better off avoiding them in favor of the most well-reviewed Indicas, Sativas and Hybrids that are out there. But hey, if Ruderalis can be brought up to par then I'm ready to add her to my harem! :-)

Masterlow and Blue streak are pretty darn potent. They may not get a 10 for potentcy, but I think that these grown in correct conditions can give some really nice smoke. Give them a try and you may like them. Once all the Various genetics are bred with the AF gene, then I think that you could have whatever expression you want as far as cannabinoid profiles for specific medical condition.
Looking good SAH. Are the Lisa Marie sexed yet?

I don't want this thread to turn into the discussion about rudys and how potent they are or are not it has been beat to death already. I'll tell you what I tell everyone who throws up that arguement. First most of them that bring it up grew LR two-three years ago and alot has changed and now the whole genetic are doomed to be weak, the others never have even tried. If no one starts crossing them and trying to find that one that does work we'll never get to it. Its going to take time just like every other great strain did.
Next, not everyone out there is able to do the grow like you have done. Look at it like this....a new member somehow finds there way to TY and think they could grow but for many reasons they do not. Money ? Space ? Whatever it is. Looking around they see an autoflower grow where the light costs $39 and $50 for some soil , nutes and pots oh and say $50 for seed. They could have there first med grow for $150 sure you don't get 3 lbs of Hashplant but maybe that little bit helps them eat or sleep alittle better today and they are not buying off the street. Little by little as they learn. That 2-3 autoflower plants run turns into 7-8 the next and after a few grows they have the rotation worked out and are always vegging while others are flowering. Since you can run a schedule of 24hrs on or a 20/4 its alot less worry about light leaks and hermies.

This is great and keep up that work and when you find that strain or pheno please let me know so I can cross it a Autoflower and hopefully find that in which I look for.

Do you have the room for those lisas to get that much veg time before flower? I guess the BS will be done in a few weeks anyway and you can go to 12/12 or whatever you use for flowering.
Why not stick them outside in that nice warm sunshine you have there? They should flower right away, no?

Not sure what you mean by enough veg time ? I just keep them in with the BS or whatever is flowering and that is the veg schedule for the Lisa's and any other non-af. I'll veg them another month or so and i'll put them under some 12/12 to get both of them to sex and i'll let them go on or butcher them for clones.
I am not in a position to be putting anything outside here.

I guess what I meant was that after an 8 week period of 16/8 18/6, etc., that you would have some BIG plants. With another 2-3 months of flower and stretch I would think you would need a grow space with at least 6 feet of heighth, or at least employ some agressive LST.
I was just unsure of how much space you had. I guess your rack system would allow it once you move the shelves down. Looking forward to you having some monster plants.

Yeah , you are right they should be pretty freakin tall when they finish. I am planning on doing all my autoflowers on these racks arranged in a square. One say going vertical on each end and the other two horizontal so escaping light can fall on the other racks. I=I
Now i'll have two shelfs per rack and above the plants on a shelf i'll have two of the CFL light setups so that makes 4 CFL lights per rack ( I contacted the company and I can daisy chain up to four lights together ). I'll place my 600w HPS light in the center area of that square. Under this light for 12 hours a day i'll place these two plants and i'll put them on a four wheeled furniture dolly so I can roll them into a walkin closet in the room.
Using these racks I hope to start 200 Blue Streak end up with at least 80-100 females to use in one large seed run and put the BS on the shelf for awhile so I can work on this and other projects like the G13 cross.
The main things I like about the racks is they have wheels and I can move them around to water or just turn around for time against the 600w HPS light.
When I start the other 15 Lisa Marie seeds i'll set up a real flower room and let them sit in one place.
The rack on wheels is 76"H x 18"D x 48"W and cost $75 at Costco.

My 400w HPS crapped out so everything is under the 135w CFL light. No matter the Blue Streak come down in a week and I move in two weeks when I pull the BS down i'll top the LM and when it recovers i'll drop into 12/12.

I think one is male and the other did not show and I had to up the light from 16 to 18 hours on. It is getting big and I am thinking when these Blue Streak are pulled I am dropping it to 16/8 and sexing and I may just chop it down and turn it all into clones. But unsure yet.....

its been in 12/12 for almost 2 weeks now and they are for sure males. But this is still just fine with me. I was hoping to get a male and female and use the pollen on a Blue Streak and on the LM female to make more seeds. But just getting a ton of pollen for future porjects is great.

I think it is a 2.5 gallon or maybe a 3 gallon next time I get a chance to look i'll do so. I am going to cut the bottom of that pot off and double pot it and place it outside so it does not spew pollen inside.

Couldn't you just throw it in a five gallon? Those are bigguns. :D Are you making honey oil from them once you get the pollen?

Being that there is two plants in that one pot I am not sure that by myself I can get it out of there without royally screwing it up and I have done it before.
But since going into flower it has grown a foot at least and I may also top it before putting it out in the yard or I could see this male getting up above the block wall in no time.
I think once I get the pollen I need i'll let it go untill it dies to see how it matures. But i'll add it to a bag of Blue Streak scraps for a buthane run.

Well it seems its time to get this old thread active again.
I started the last three Lisa Marie seeds I have and all my Sour Diesel IBL seeds and here are the LM and in the next couple days i'll get the SDIBL up.
They are about 2 months old and in canna coco using cutting edge solutions nutes. They are also under some T5 lights now and they are being moved to under some 1000w MH lights and moved to 18/6 for sexing.
So if you start seeing Lisa Marie clones in the NW Montana area they came from these.

Yes but very very limited. These seeds were sold back late 2005 early 2006 and was a one time cross but every now and then Rez puts out a few teaser packs. Only 2-3 times since the initial release has he done it.
I camped on seedbay for about four hours one night because of the time difference to the UK and just hit reload over and over until it was posted. I got two packs in the 5 mintues it took to sell out of it.

Hey what up REZDOG! I like the looks of your new genetics. Yet i must ask what the lineage is of that sssdh is actuall? I have supersilver haze/SourDiesle! And it will rock your world!!! I wonder if they are simular as when i got the clones i got three and the main grower bruno made it on cove of High Times & the centerfold pic! I find it hard to believe you have an original Sour Diesle/Supersilverhaze. Due to the fact the breeder grower bruno that i recieved it from in Mass. Gave my buddy five/half the generation one cuts! Well while i was driving home i found out that Bruno got busted? Then two days later my good buudy J (whom really was the one to hook me up with the SSD cuttings) he was actually busted too):( Was crazy two days after i left i found out he got popped too:( Crazyness, Yet i got very lucky and have worked hard to save these genetics so I found my mother instantly 5 years ago or so and then flowered one outdoor and the other as a test run indoor & it blew me away! From Fruity pebbles to sour diesle fuel/rocket fuel!!!!!!! I find it hard to believe anyone else has that cut as i was told i was the only person to have it as the two trusted growers and breeders both were busted within the week or two days after we left. Never seen anything like it or taste like it. Would you wanna swap some seeds so you can give it a run and surprise me with one of your fire strains. Also have and Underground stain called ElvisBsckstage which is a very potent dens buds almost like elvis/LA Con or Elvis/Purple Kush! You would love them both and as a breeder you will be happy to know only F2's but fairly stable depending on pheno. Seem to be two phenos of each(which should be for the F2's i breed them to my P. Kush & SuperSourDiesle). Would love to talk genetics as i will have a seed company starting in about a month and i have collected genetics since i was about 16 years old and been breeding/growing for over a decade now., and its my passion. So lets talk and see if we could help each other
