Been having some real bad experiences with seed companies. Seems hemp depot gets good reviews. I was looking @ the joey weeds seeds. Look very nice. Anyone have a recommendations? Looking for a sat/ind mix, probably a 40/60 mix with of course a decent harvest size. Any help appreciated.

no intro of any kind and you want something allready.
theres all kinds of reviews around here on seed companies and seeds themselves, all you need to do is look them up.
oh ya, and how about an intro?

sorry about that. I am really stressed right now. I have been trying to buy seeds since Aug and I keep losing $ and getting broken promises. I reviewed the seed company list on this site and greenmans. Unfortunately I ordered from BC Bud depot who someone recommended. I am thinking it was a bad decision, been almost 1 month nothing yet and all they tell me is wait another 4 wks. I made the sorry mistake of ordering from amsterdam seeds and thought I ordered from them in the past, but I am mistaken as order never arrived and they simply jerked me around. My supply is running very low and I suffer from both migraines and bad back so the thought of being without is scary. Again I don't mean to be rude, just a little panicked now.

Personally I find it hard to believe you actually read the seedbank reviews here or at greenmans seedbank update. Both sites are very clear about BCBud depots imaginary seeds. There are page upon page of folks bad experiences with them and greenmans specifically states they are ripoffs that either don't send paid for seeds or send infertile or ditch weed seeds. BTW they have a forum that is not run by the thieves but by fellow growers and has nothing to do with the shoddy business practices of the seedbank other than the name.

I have used "Peak Seeds" and found them to be excellent. Many people, here at TY, have used them and I don't think I have read one bad review of "Peak Seeds".

Also, I think they are only charging about $3 a seed.

I hope this helps you out!

1st. I want to say thanks to all for jumping in and trying to help. It is greatly appreciated.

Roy and Marco, I did check the peak seeds but was a little confused. Do you pick a strain then choose the company to the buy them from? If that is the case are all the companies they are referring you to reputable? I just want to get my beans and take care of myself.

Smokinbasser, I just read the reviews today which is long after the fact that I made a huge mistake of sending my dead presidents to them. I have never had trouble with my orders in the past when I ordered from other companies, and wanted to try something different. So basically I got riped-off by another company and then went to bc bud depot. They sure talk a great line and the people on the board seemed very supportive. So I am the foool and I am trying to be as careful as possible now.

all the peak seeds are in house genetics so their is no outside vendor. i've only heard great things about peak so it would be a good place to start. we also have a few seed contests here at TY that you could enter. http://www.treatingyourself.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=161

personally I like seedboutique.com. they are reasonably affordable and very reliable and usually add in a few freebies to the orders. they are mostly just a broaker for other breeders so shop around, they have mucho options.

Rev, Love that avatar. I need to look for mine. After OG got shut down I stopped posting anywhere. Did the seed contest tx for the heads-up sort of speaking. With peak it was a little confusing as it seemed to bring-up different vendors when you wanted to order. I need to talk directly with them. tx again.

plover, yes I have bought from seed boutigue. I just wanted to try something new. tx.

Cascade,

Mandala Seeds is a great company that has left me with nothing but good experiences. I've ordered from them twice, and both times had my seeds within 2 weeks. Each step of the order and shipping is clear and emailed to you so you always know whats going on with your order. The price of their seeds are very competitive with all of their strains priced under $30 shipped. I've sent cash to them each time, and they have always received my mail.

As for S/I mix, they have plenty of such hybrids that are high yeilding low maintenance landrace strains. All of their strains seem to yield very heavily, and have been heavily documented on icmag. Check out the Plants and Budshots section where you'll see some of my pics of my Mandala strains.

Good luck, and check out their website.

Johnnypotsmoker-Tx for the recommendations. I did make an order with them and so far so good. They are very responsive and I ended up going with a wire transfer. I really shot the wad and ordered MK Ultra-it is G-13xOGKush and I didn't feel comfortable sending almost 200.00$ cash in the mail. I also ordered 2 of their strains, hashberry and white satin. Yeah I need to wait an extra week for the MK Ultra to get in.

I have a question for you. What medium do you grow in hydro or soil? I ask as they have a somewhat different germ protocol for thier strains. I'll take a peak in plants budshots maybe you reference there.

Also, I spoke with them about carrying TGA strains. They said they were considering it and ask for my f/b. I told them I have yet to try them but they look really good. I won an auction @ Bidzbay for Jack the Ripper and Ozzy. Hopefully they will get here sooner than later.

seed bank. check the reviews for med effects for your specific needs then select the strain best matched to your condition, then a seed bank. I liked G13 x Haze for headaches and pain, slight appetite stim, calming but not wheelchair weed, long lasting and very heavy producer. watch for mold on the larger football sized buds near the end of flowering and keep the humidity very low last three weeks. nice taste too.

revclone-You know I tried to germ. that way on my first grow and maybe I didn't put the seeds in point down, but what happened out of 10 seeds only 2 took. It seemed the rot tip popped out of the cube and @ the time I didn't know better to turn it back inside. I will give that a try though as I have some mandela's on the way.

Mod- Yes I have an order in for some G-13 x OGkush. Yes headaches and pain are both an issue, so is my mood but I find the indica dominat strain work well.

Yes the U.S. policy around this is H.S. If it were about protecting it's citizens that would be one thing, but it is about $. The pharm. companies have such a strangle hold on the gov. $ runs everything in this country..........I am back to an earlier thought. GO NORTH----> get the hell out of this capitalist cesspool.

Sorry I am extremely frustarted with the politics-coporate and special interests that run this country-I just keep forgetting as our commander and chief has already said the constitution is just a piece of paper- and no I don't think it will be any better with the current crop of fools who are running prez. Other than Ron Paul-he does of a lick sense.
