An easy one to answer here! If I had any budget yet had to chose one book I would pick :
The Great Book of Cannabis
Vol. I Book II
by Laurence Cherniak
I would relish in the over 500 color photographs that take you in front of, between, and through the scenes on four continents. I would enjoy learning about the history through the pictorial record of travelling through the worldwide fellowship of cannabis.
Rare books have always interested me and the topic here is one that can't be beat either! I certianly would never hope to win such an expensive book but there are so many that would make excellent prizes that it really wouldnt matter. Any book would be a great addition to my collection. One with bud porn would be a treasured piece.
Good luck to everyone and thanks again for a great contest!

I have read the rules and understand them all!:)
Now me what book would I like and why? Well if I had a choice in what I got from the fsbookco.com I would have to pick a of the specail package Offer "A" Marijuana Books
What an awesome collection of marijuana growing books in one package deal! Me as a beginner well, I quess you could say I am not a beginer. I have been growing most of my life! I have been always been told that I have my Great Grammies green thumb! If anyone had a plant that was dying or looking dead already would be passed on to me! And sure enough I was able to bring it back to the life of green living! It has only been in the last few years where it has become a part of my meds. needs! So, finding any info. that may help me in become a better grower is a big plus in my world now! But any book from the fsbookco.com would be great to me right now!!!
Thank-you
Twisted Sister
good luck everyone!

I have read the rules
Well, very difficult to choose just one of so many great books.
The book I would most like to have (damaged is OK by me, my kitchen is rough on books anyway) is "Granddad's Wonderful Book of Chemistry"
I really need this.
I have been figuring out recipes on my own for cannabis as well as other herbal complements because I keep an organic garden so want to use my own products for our medicine and skin care. Trouble is that I have spent alot of time out in the yard in the lawn chair "tits up" from sampling the concoctions. I have gotten my dog and parakeet as well as myself stoned by accident while preparing cannabis in my kitchen. I would like to know how to set up properly.
I do for people in my life that have allergies or intolerance to alot of ingredients used in store bought syrups, lotions, creams and such. There are alot of recipes available on line to be sure, but sometimes they aren't well formulated and so often becomes an effort of trial and error. Sometimes it causes waste.
This book teaches the basic principles about things I can't really ask a knowledgeable person such as a Pharmacist safely. Sometimes I hesitate to make something if I am not sure of the safety or interaction of ingredients and or cooking methods.

I have read the rules and am very excited about this contest!
Who doesnt love books and graphics of lovely, well cultivated MJ? I would absolutely have to choose The Cannabible Collection that comes in a shrink wrapped box set! What a beut that would be sitting in my living room. As it comes in a boxed set it could free stand on my coffee table a proud disply of the gorgeous selection that FS Books has to offer! It is reasonably priced as it contains the entire set of books for only a few dollars more than just trying to choose one. (and what a tough choice that would be) So save yourself the grief and take a look at this lovely little collection yourself as I think it would make an excellent Christmas gift to somone on your list!
Thanks to the sponsors and moderators for the great contests! Good luck everyone!

My choice would be "Green Gold, the Tree of Life- Marijuana in Magic and Religion".
First off, I'm Wicca, so this book would interest me from that viewpoint. I am an avid reader in anthropology/archeology and I wouldn't be here if I didn't use cannabis! So this book gets my attention twice over just with the title!
"The Tree of Life' in the title hints that the medical uses and health aspects of cannabis may be discussed. Again, this fits my interests.
The use of shamanic herbs is a fascinating subject on it's own, but when it is written up by an author I admire, it's doubly good! I enjoyed reading Lynn Osburn's little piece on the nutritional values of hemp seed, and if this is half as good, I wouldn't put it down until I have read the whole dang thing- all 485 pages of it! I know I don't stand a chance of getting this book as a prize, but I think it would be absolutely fascinating to read!
ps- In case you're interested, here's the link to the "hemp seed" paper by Lynn Osburn-
