Sorry for you lost Iriv!
I'm an animal nut and I have had to put down my dog of 15 years. It's not easy but 22 years is an excellent age for any house cat. For your feline to have lived that long someone must have been giving it a lot of love.
It gets easier but I do feel your loss!

Hugs to both of you...I know how it is to lose a pet...we have one that won't make it another year.
They do become part of the family and are dearly missed when gone.
Comforting Hugs...Uni :(
I sure hope so :D:D She was to "feeble" to play much at all... but she did love her pettings :):)

Thank You ALL sooo much. I'm sorry, It took me a couple of days to be able to handle reading all of your kind wishes. I appreciate them very much. It's been kinda hard.... I've had her since I was 19 years old. It's strange not to have her looking for food everytime I go into the kitchen, or following me around for pets and lovins. She has totally adored me, unconditionally, what seems like, my whole life. I really miss my baby girl.... I'm just Sad....
I know it's going to get easier.... God's greatest gift....The ability to forget.... Never Completely.... But life goes on.... doesn't it.... That's sad too.
Again , Thank You All sooo very, very much....

Thank you smokinbasser and sedative ocean... Its still sad, I work nights, and when i would come in in the morning, there she would be... waiting for her pets, and something to eat.. and still, when i got in this morning, i expected to see her there and hear her little meow's... but they were not there... :(:(:(

My heart knows exactly how you both feel.Irve & Lady420 I.m so sorry to hear that you had to send your loved pet on the way to heaven and that is where they go as far as I.m conserned.God gave man the rule of the animals and when the great flood came God told Noha to take 2 or more of every type of animal on earth into the ark with him to repopulate here on earth. That is why I believe that God has a place in heaven for all of our pets Amen to that.
Love and prayers going out to you and yours.

To the loved one lost, you brought happiness into peoples lives company and play. You will be missed with all your ways. The man or woman above has said it's time and you were delivered in loveing arms to the creator. There you will be happy and be able to look upon your friends you lived with in your life. In death there is an awakening in us all! I can't explain it but it is there.
To the owners I can emagine what you are going through, I had to lay to rest a small dog years ago, that was devistating. I'm no priest but your beloved pet is with the best thing going. Bless you both Man and woman for people like you are needed around the world. People with a heart. GOD BLESS

The oldest kitty I know of was named Grandpa by his loving surrogate human parents. He developed an affinity for coffee, eggs, and bacon along the way. He was 34 when he passed on. It was wonderful during the TV show my wife and I watched when all the kitties in his clan walked up and payed homage during the service. He had a 28 year old somehow related offspring that had begun taking up all his dietary quirks.

22 years is a long stretch almost a quarter century. I didn't know that cats lived that long. that cat must have had a lot of love in your family. As a pet owner, ( dog ) I know how they find a place in our hearts and bond so closely with us, all without saying a single word. I guess that says a lot for body language, eh? I'm sure you will have a lot of memories to last a lifetime. Our condolences on the loss of your precious pet.
Thank you curly and warmlite.... she was a wonderful part of our family, and did give us endless hours of delight!! :):)
