View Full Version : Herbed Paprika Chicken

Herbed Paprika Chicken -- submitted by Chef Uni
4 - 6 Chicken Breasts sliced
1/4 cup Butter
1 large Onion chopped
2 tbsp Paprika
2 tbsp Flour
3/4 cup Hot Water
1 cube of Chicken Bullion
3/4 - 1 litre Whipping Cream (unwhipped) mixed with 4 grams of finely ground marijuana
(combine at least 1 hour prior to cooking)
Glaze onion in butter. Add sliced chicken and brown slightly.
Sprinkle paprika and flour over chicken mixture and coat well.
Add water and bullion cube and bring to a boil, reduce heat. Slowly stir in cream till well covered.
Bring to a simmer and let simmer till sauce thickens.
Serve over rice or pasta.

sounds yummy.Im trying this recipe when I can get the motivation.
Tasty sounding recipie.
I like to keep my chicken relatively simple, and coat it with garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and ground rosemary. Then I either roast or fry it (usually roast.)

I've been craving the non medicinal version...maybe I will make it tonight if I have the chicken...LOL Thanks for the comments...let me know how it turns out...Hugs Uni ;)

If I could make a couple of suggestions
1. Make medallions of the chicken
A. Clean and trim all fat and grizzle from the breast meat, if they are connected cut in halves and trim the connecting membrane
B. Cut the meat into 3 peices, as evenly as you can. Cut them across, not along the length.
C. Wrap them in plastic wrap with a small pan, pound gently until flattened, but uniform
D. Season with salt and pepper, spray with "non stick" oil before cooking
E. Get your pan hot before cooking the meat
F. Cook your meat until pink in the middle.
2. Instead of Bullion cubes that have a tremendous amount of salt, saute the chicken in pan, remove, cook the other ingredients and when starting the sauce, place the chicken back in and let simmer. Now add salt as needed. Use, fresh herbs like savory, or thyme. They will compliment the mmj very well.
3. You can throw in some wild mushrooms as well, and make 'Chausser" or hunters style.

This is very similar to Hungarian Chicken Paprikash. We use sour cream to thicken the gravy instead of the whipping cream...but it's pretty much the same recipe. Thanks for posting this recipe. I've only recently discovered the joys of medibles, and am looking to expand titrating doses with meals (versus candies/pastries as I'm on a diet).

well I guess I will have to break out the spagetti and meat ball recipe,with canna garlic bread too.great recipes,keep them coming,peace
