Sad news today here, we lost a horse....A morgan gelding named G-Man. The call came, said a horse was dead and tangled up in the fence. We have 3 so, so tears where flying before we even got to the pasture.

There he was, not tangled up....just laying there in the snow, next to the fence. We think he slipped and hit his head, killing him right then. No blood, no "struggling" marks in the snow, still had grass in his mouth. :( Gonna miss him a lot, not quite a dog, nor a cat, but he was a horse......thats different.

RIP G. Happy Trails.....

sad to hear of your loss of such a good friend, it's very hard to give them up and the bond formed with a horse is quite different and most often stronger, my thoughts go out to you and your family

My daughter won't pick up a dish but by George off to the barn she'll head at 4 in the morning to spend the time with her horses before she heads to work. These quarter horses are the living "WORLD!" to her. Sorry to hear of the loss.

So to hear of your loss. Any pet that we are close to becomes part of the family so when they pass it hurts.

Take Care and Peace
Marco
