Greetings TY,

Here's what I've been up to this Spring.

After taking cuttings she looks a tad butch, eh? June Bug female-I-thought-was-a-male:

This plant was starting to flower when I put her under the Oregonian summer sun. She is still producing flowers, but they are not developing very fast. This plant is also putting out new leaves, and I'm feeding her veg nutrients. I am going to keep her like this until the current round of flowering plants has finished, then she will get the 1KW HPS and continue flowering under 12/12. I may start clipping off buds to stop her from flowering completely because I want to clone this Sweet Purple strain:

That's White Russian in a 7-gallon container. She's getting huge:

Thanks, I'm getting the hang of this perpetual harvest thing. It took a while.

I just harvested the Sweet Purple:

We'll see how the medicine smokes in a couple weeks after it's cured. That will be the true test for this strain.

Flowering Update

I've started harvesting bits of these plants, even though it is much earlier than I'd normally chop them. I haven't flowered the WR/TS or the White Russian before, and I want to test the various stages of growth for potency, taste, effectiveness on pain, etc.

Here are a couple shots of how the flowers are looking.

Thanks y'all!

Here's a macro of the WR/TS I harvested early:

Most of the buds are not this mature.

Here's a macro of a White Russian I have flowering:

I'm seeing a lot of pink in those trichomes, how about you? Another couple weeks methinks.

Very good looking plants and great pics. Was that sweet purple a clone?

Yes, the Sweet Purple was a clone as the White Russian was.

Wow, how much are you harvesting early and what is your perpetual harvest yeild/ what is your time frame?

Taxol,
I harvested a small amount of the Russian Tundra at 6 weeks, then 7, and most of it at 8. I'll let a few buds go until 9 or 10 weeks perhaps.
I have been harvesting more with each run for the past 2 years with this indoor growing thing. Last harvest yielded me just over 1 gram per watt, and that's what I was shooting for. I have been running the perpetual harvest to produce medicine every 8 weeks.

Near-the-end-Update

At 7 weeks this Russian Tundra plant is still not finished. I flushed four days ago, and I'm not planning on watering this plant any more before harvest. It has had it's fun in the sun, but it's 7-gallon pot is taking up too much space.

The White Russians were flushed as well, and they are finishing nicely:

Extreme Macro:

That's that for now. I've chopped most of the Russian Tundra, and in another week I'll finish manicuring it. Quite a fruity-smelling strain. It will be interesting to see how it smokes. The White Russian has proven to be superior however, and I believe the Matanuska Tundra in the "Russian Tundra" (AKA:WR/TS) is what slighted the yield. To each his/her own.

Just to give this harvest some closure I took a few macro pictures before the dried buds went out to the MMJ users I supply.
