Hi folks; for anyone that is regular to this site.. you will, I'm sure have noticed that I haven't been around much in the last month or so. I would like to appologize for this.
Marco came back to us just in time IMHO, I'm not sure how much longer I could have maintained "daily communications" with this fine community if Marco had been forced to be absent for much longer.
STRESS is a terrible thing. I came very close to "melt down"... as a result I have a PM box that is simply "STUFFED", I'm sure some of them are "nasty grams" regarding auctioned seeds. Please do not take my failure to reply as an insult or a slight, it was certainly NOT intended to be such. I still have a virtual "boat load" of PM's to go through, those that are regarding seed auctions.. please read on.. those that are of a different nature I will endeavour to answer them as quickly as I can now that I am making my way back to the world.
Our recent seed auctions taught me a few things and problems that took place in those first seed auctions will NOT be repeated.
To the best of our knowledge all people that have paid have been shipped to now, I appologize for the delays... however this has indeed been a learning experience (thus the "item numbers" that MUST be quoted now as well as your safe mailing address and screen name along with your payment).
For those that were forced to suffer a longer delay than necessary while we sorted out the mess we are including "a little extra" in your seed orders ;)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my wife Uni, during this period she has been indispensable to me. With me working as "silent advisor" she did the detective work required to sort out the absolutely horendous mess that had become of the seed auctions.
Due to her tireless efforts and knack for "organization" Unicorn is now a "supermod" for the auction forum. :)
I promise that the earlier mistakes made will NOT be repeated, from this point on ANY and ALL auction items will be HERE at my home before I will post the items up for auction. The effort of co-ordinating shipments from other locations is just NOT practical, there is simply too much room for errors to be made.
As we speak the TY Seed Bank is being "rebuilt". I will become the official "opperator" of the seed bank, upon it's completion the new seed bank will be prety much "automated" and as "fail safe" as we can possibly make it. Seed orders will be packaged DAILY as they come in and mailings will occur at LEAST twice per week (more often.. or less as sittuations dictate).
To those folks that have suffered undue stress due to my "apparent lack of concern" I do appologize and I will do my best to ensure that this does NOT happen again.
zardoz is BACK! and he's ready to get to work again! :)
Thank you for taking the time to read this rather long message. It was my feeling that I OWED you good folks an explanation and an appology, both are genuine and it is my hope that there are no hard feelings.
