Ok first for the Good News TY #12 is almost ready to go to the printers
Now for the Bad News not all articles submitted will make it into TY # 12 due to lack of space.
So if you submitted an article and it didn't make it into TY # 12 not to worry as it will be in TY # 13.
I would like to thank everyone who submitted an article , recipe , poem , pic etc...
So I hope that folks continue to send in articles and such for future issues.
Deadline for TY # 13 which gets released in September is June 21, 2008

I would reckon that reflects very well on the TY members who submit articles that all are of the quality to publish. I would also reckon having a bank of articles you can forward plan with may be a benefit for you in future issues.
Well done all who are involved

Sounds like things are really kicking off with a bang! Good on ya all, keep up the great work. If only the world could see what is going on, the real truth about marijuana and how so many are benefiting from it, instead of prescriptions! Prescriptions always have terrible side effects and often just dull the pain, who in their right mind would take a pill that could cause them more problems, when there is medical marijuana with no side effects. Go figure!

I totally agree with you Brainpan. My problem is that I don't know which of the 38 pills I take everyday can be replaced by MMj. I also need a ready supply of MMj before I dare try to eliminate my Rx meds.

And when you do have a steady supply, back off of each Rx med ONE at a time, that way you can gauge which ones you really need, and which ones can be replaced by sweet mary jane.

Sounds like a plan. My major pill is 5400mg of Neurontin a day for 4 years. It's for full body neuropathies caused when my white cells attacked and ate the mylene coating off all my peripheral nervous system. I cut back once(1800mg) and the pain was unbearable. I doubt MMj can do more than it does which is take the edge off off the breakthrough pain. Also take Vicodin 750mg when needed for breakthrough pain.
hey M,
do you know at this point when the final submission date is for issue # 14 ?
thank you,

Have you considered switching to Lyrica?! It's the newer, more "streamlined" (i.e. usually better) version of Neurontin, from the same pharmaceutical company.
It's not generic (at least I don't think it is yet), but in general, it's considered superior to Neurontin in every way. It acts on the same receptors, just more efficiently/effectively.
Many conditions which respond well to Neurontin/Lyrica (e.g. GABA acting drugs) respond well to cannabis.....replacement pharms could include Cesamet, Marinol, and Sativex (in EU and .CA)....
