I got a volcano with a solid valve and it was time for the lower screen of the filling chamber to be replaced. Since I vaporize hash, the lower screen was pretty clogged up.

I used tweezers to remove the blue lower ring and I unscrewed the metal part of the filling chamber and took out the clogged up screen.

Unfortunately replacing the screen seems like a major pain in the butt. First of all I had to bend my scree a bit just to get the damn thing inside. Second I couldn't get it to get the edges of the screen perfectly inside the space for the filter because the edges got bent.

Either way the screen seems secure and I tested the volcano and it works fine. Are there any tips to avoid this next time I replace the screen? Should my current screen be fine even with the edges bent? It seems to work perfectly right now even if it wasn't a perfect fit and got a bit bent.

High greengiant, when re-installing screens on my solid valve set I would place part of the screen's edge in the groove that holds the screen in place, then holding the screen with my thumb inside the filling chamber and my index finger holding the screen outside the filling chamber, turn the chamber to easily install the screen in one unbent piece.
