I Have Started Another Crop Of Lr. Seven Out Of Ten Have Sprouted In 48 Hours. The Other 3 Have Shown No Signs. I Have Noticed That Even If They Do Sprout By Now That Theres A Good Chance That They Wont Amount To Much...and The Male Ratio Seems To Increasae.

Hey Slater Good luck with your LR grow..!!
Slater, if you are going to leave them outside, why not bury the 1 gal pots in the earth? Would definetly give them a big boost.

I have found that LR seeds are hard to germ and that they have a high propensity towards males too, maybe even 70+ percent.

My Lowriders have always had a 100% germ rate and a great male to female split. I have grown over 100 plants out myself. Out of all the Lowryder seeds I've given away/sold or traded only one person has said they had a bad male to female split.

I've been in here all day long and I'm so lost!
Great reading, though...a definite "favorite" site addition....
Is the $30 deal for LowRyder seeds still going on?
I have my room nearly set up, and all I really need is seeds!

the lowryder's are now 50.00. the sale is no more. surely you can find a better strain to grow for medical pourposes. lowryders imo are a novelty plant. you get mostly males to females and do not produce much as far as weight. this grow report was just an experment and it comfirmed what i already knew. i wont be growing this strain again unless they get the kinks worked out. please visit ty's seedbank http://www.treatingyourself.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1321 and sponsors. there are many good strains to be found.

I went ahead and bought the LR seeds from Planetary Pride ....for $40... they're kinda slow germinating and popping through...maybe if I get them under the 600w light they'll strengthen up?
Anyway, I didn't get them for particularly medicinal purposes...I'd read that they were really easy to grow, and the whole auto-flowering thing intrigued me....I'm watching the calendar closely, and will hopefully keep a pretty concise diary...
So exactly what is it that makes one strain more "medicinal" than another? Painkilling qualities? Anti-anxiety properties? Personally, anything that keeps me vegged is NOT medicinal! My intention is to eventually find (or create) a totally UP strain....I need to keep busy or I become a sloth and I hate that!!!!:o My favorite days are spent doing a little bit of everything...
I requested some seeds from Marco a week or two ago...BubblegumxMango...after reading as much as I could find, it seemed like a pretty good choice .....any other suggestions?
Thank you all so much for the replies....

Looks decent, a novelty plant is better than no plant.Wonder how they will smoke for you. Im thinking of putting a batch outdoors next year so i can harvest in waves. Lr being wave 1 lowryder crosses wave2 and a big outdoor strain for round three. Got to get my hands on the lowryder beans first.
