Here's a great recipe I have used for years for canning butter. I use 1/2 pint jars myself, but any would work..
I'm sure this would also work for canning cannabutter also and it last up to 5 years. :D

When they are heating the butter and making like a ghee, I would remove the milk solids (as in making ghee). That way I don't think you would have to worry about the separation after canning. Of course then I guess you would be canning ghee. What do you think?

I can say I don't really know cause I've never had the pleasure of making cannabutter yet but hope to try soon. So can this recipe be adapted to cannabutter?

no reason why not and could make a very very good way to preserve it long term as that can be an issue. pritty cool idea, thanx! :D
