White Widow Grow Log

I purchased a 5 pack of white widow feminized seeds from GHS via seed boutique. I started 2 seed's for a DWC grow using a 5 gallon bucket w/3" net cups, and 24" bubble wands. I'll update every so often, and i'll hopefully be able to provide some photo's later on down the road.

I'm using 4, 40watt t-12's for vegetation and a 250watt HPS for flowering. I'll also be using PBP Grow + Bloom, Sensizyme, Carbo Load, Epsom Salt, and Clearex.

SEEDLING & VEGETATIVE STAGES OF GROWTH: 4 - 40watt T-12 lighting (8300 lumens)
1/19 - Pre Soak 9:42pm
1/20 - Paper Towel Germination 11:45am
1/21 - Seed's Germinated 12:18am
1/21 - Soaking Rockwool in pH 5.5 w/ 5ml of Liquid Karma 12:31am
1/21 - Sprouts placed in rockwool cubes 12:36pm
1/23 - Seed shells have detached from sprouts with human assistance 10:22pm
1/24 - Cotyledons have fully developed and the first sets of true leaves have emerged 12:13pm

Thanks man. I've heard lot of conflicting stories about GHS, but so far so good with the germination rate.

Alright spawnof84.Iv grown a few strains from GHS,w widow/w shark/w rhino/el nino/ the church/and trainwreck. Iv never had a problem with germination with any of them and iv grown some more than once.The one thing i dont like is you get the odd male flower (trainwreck/ shark being the worst .the good news for you is iv not seen any on w widow.Iv also got a w rhino mother plant ghs that iv had for a very long time which is a really nice smoke easy to grow and clone.All i can really rember about the w widow is i had a couple that were a lot taller than their sisters and i think they were the better plants. Anyway mate good luck with your grow . the first 2 photos are w rhino at about 7week and the other is of my go at w widow ,see the 2 tall ones . se16 boy

Do the Widows usually take a while to show signs of sex? I'm heading into two weeks since i switched over to 12/12 and still see no pistils. I know it can take up to two weeks to see signs, but never had plants take this long. What were your experiences with the widow regarding my situation? I see signs of transitioning into flower, but see no pistils. Maybe im just being impatient :p
