You Need

Runnings

3/4 fill bottle with dry, crushed herb.
fill bottle with Ethanol for 2 weeks.
Screw the lid on tight and shake daily. (It’s usually potent enough to use after about 36hrs.)
after 14 days.
Strain the herb out and discard the herb

To increase bio-dynamics
START SOAK
on the closest dry sign (fire & air) to the new moon at low tide.

STRAIN
on the closest fertile sign, (earth & water) to the full moon, at high tide.


Therapeutic Use

Great for pain relief e.g. toothache Dose depends a lot on the severity of the attack. Few drops to a 1ml straight on the tooth whenever necessary. THC travels to damaged nerves before it reaches the brain so you won’t get stoned but you will get pain relief. And if you‘ve been there, you’ll know the euphoria pain relief can bring.

Have you thought of using Cointreau as a solvent instead of pure ethanol. The alcohol content is still high enough to get good THC saturation, but you get a more agreeable flavour and it is far gentler under the tongue.

Hi Max, there are many ideas on this. What I can tell you is that Mullaway never heats his buds prior to making tincs. His opinion is that too many of the volatile terpenes are lost in heating, which degrades the quality of a med grade tinc. Sure some folks heat their tincs, but I can assure you the unheated tincs are far better.
I guess it's up to the individual on this.

that is dangerous
explosive even
alcohol will not freez at that tempeture
and will still evaporate in the fridge
the fumes will fall down and a spark from the electric motor will cause ignition

You will find that with a med grade tinc, there is minimal head effect. You can use either bud or resiny trim to make tincs.

extraction, mixed in peanutbutter. I use a teaspoon full nightly for insomnia, never lay there for longer that half an hour, before blissful sleep overcomes me. As an added bonus, the maker claims that this same application will lower my need for my diabetic meds. Long term use supposedly evens out the sugars in my body, will see at my next A1C testing, later this month.
I've used his topical application of this extraction on my feet, for extreme heel pain. The oil quickly penetrates the skin, within minutes the pain simply disappears. I suffer from "ice bricks" for feet during the winter months, November to April each year. This topical is a vaso-dialator, opening up the vessels in my feet. My feet are warm for 6-7 hrs. after each application.
This is truely an amazing medicine...
