Very excited about this new piece to my glass collection! Thought I would share the mastery of this design with my family.

From the top down (cause it is too tall to get both a close shot and all of the thing)

Then there is a view of the percolators. The smoke must travel first up and then down through the percolaters (with water in place) and then passes through the ice in the ice catcher at the top. The top percolator is filled from the top and the bottom one by tipping it upside down when the bottom bowl is full.

My favorite thought that went into this piece is the removeable slider. This makes it so easy to clean the dirtiest part of your percolator.

There are still three units left at Intergalactic Trading Company in Peterborough - authorized rep for CHILLS Canada.

Enjoy!

Looks like a massive set of lungs needed to clear that mule!

well yes, it does - but I am known for my lungs. In a grade 8 science experiment I displaced more than 5.3 L of water in one breath. I have been a swimmer and aquatic fitness instructor for years....I think this helps.

Interestingly it is easier to clear if you don't put water in the percolators but then they don't percolate either. There is enough glass there to cool any hit without the water or using the ice catcher. It is a truly grand piece.

Myself I like a very small bong that can be cleaned. I get used to what I can handle in one hit and still clear without killing myself.
not sure one could keep a complex piece like this clean for very long.

Do these ash catchers do a good job at filtering the ick? how are they to keep clean?
my simple bong gets more and more complex I reckon!

Not sure why you think it would be hard to clean???

It is all glass and even the slider comes out for cleaning so the hardest part of any bong is a removeable piece in the percolator. Mine is still spotless after using it EVERY day since I bought it with dark heavy stuff. I have put Temple Ball through it as well as four differnt kinds of oil and two other kinds of hash. I go through more than ten grams a day just in my bong of hash and oils in addition to my vape and eating.

Guess maybe it is my higher tolerance that has me seeking a large and lovely unit. I have a smaller hand made piece for downstairs and it is nice but needs the ice in the smaller unit to cool properly and that was why I have always wanted a bigger one.

In any event it is pretty and I find it easy to clean. A little alcohol and kosher salt - swish swish. If you rinse every day or two it stays clean with no build up.

if you clean them regularly. If you are a fan of buying cleaning products like purple power the smaller size means less expense to clean while most of the mess stays in the smaller ash catcher.

Having said that, most ash catchers aren't really designed that well and have the attachment inserting at a downward angle with much of their water leaking straight out into your bong so a careful look at design is IMPORTANT.

Being smaller it can be way more fiddley to try to clean and the insert centre only comes clean if you remove both it and the stopper that keeps it in place.

Nothing dirty ever makes it up to the percs either. At least not so far.

I didn't realize you were suppose to put water in the ash catcher, haven't seen it used that way before

Yeah, I hate ash catchers...okay strong statement, I have not found one I like. Yeah they help keep gunk out, but they limit your piece soo much! I mean look at your piece the whole concept is to allow air to flow freely while filtering abit of the carcinogens involved in the act. Ashcatchers usually do not allow that to happen.

Nice piece! It looks great. I have a triple percolated PHX that looks very similar but clear. Always nice to have, and it does take big lungs and patience.
