Ok i have been browsing the threads for some time and came accross a few articles on cloning and i have put together my own cloning machine..I would say its the home made versoin of the E-Z cloner but waaaaay cheaper.
Price for the stuff as follows: Oh i should say i bought most of the stuff off e-bay so again saved lots.the rest was at local hardware store:
Pump $65.00 Most expensive piece, you want at least a 700gal per minute one ,mine was 800gpm.
tub $10.00
cages 1and 3/4 $15.00
neopreem 1 and 3/4 $24.00
tubing ,well i had it from a sprinkler system leftovers 3/4 inch
adapter for pipe to pump $2.00
The misters I used 15 but its not nessesary 8 would have been lots $12.00
I had to put a skirt arround the top about an inch and a half from the edge so the water wouldnt drip out as the tub isnt that sealed. I used some rubber 4 inch base board i had access to. I would think some poly would work too..Just so the misters hit it and the water drips back into the tub.In some of the pics i had a different skirt which i had to add while it was in operation,,,later i redid it.
So a total of aprox. $125.00
Oh i had the 1 and 3/4 hole drill also .
Now i never cleaned things to well when i fired it up and a few of the misters clogged so it should be cleaned out really good before u add water then clean again before you fire up the pump.. This worked so good.
Mine will do 45 babys but its more than ill ever need but extra is good you can pick out the best for the garden.
I added water ,,,,phed it to 5.5 added some b-1 thrive and 8 days later roots were showing on some by 14 all had roots..In the pics some of the plants were added later they all rooted too.
Its so easy.

I think the skirt on this should be a bit longer as it still drips a bit of water :)

The misters are the green colour the are the biggest i could find as unplugging the smaller hole would be a pian. Just drill a hole in the pvc i used a tap and die to thread the pvc where they go in and it was easy then. Holding the plants is done by the neopreen circles they have a split in then so u spread it open and incert. Then i have cages which sit in the holes,,i cut the bottoms off the cages so more water hits the plant stem. you can kinda see in some of the pics.If you want a close up or individual let me know
