Prison guard remanded on drugs charges

A guard at Rimutaka Prison has been remanded to appear in court on drugs charges.
Jeffrey Mark Reid, 43, has been accused of dealing cannabis to inmates, and faces charges of selling cannabis, conspiring to sell cannabis and cultivating cannabis.
Three prisoners and two women have also been charged following a month-long cannabis investigation by the Corrections Department.
